Akshay Kumar’s convoy vehicle involved in chain collision in Juhu, auto driver & passenger injured

Actor Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna were involved in a road accident on Monday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The incident occurred shortly after the couple returned from an overseas trip and were travelling from the airport to their residence. While the collision caused panic among bystanders, no fatalities were reported. Those involved were rescued quickly, preventing further harm.

According to preliminary details, a speeding Mercedes first rammed into an auto rickshaw. The impact pushed the auto into a vehicle from Akshay Kumar’s security convoy. This led to the convoy car crashing into the actor’s SUV, resulting in a chain collision near the Silver Beach cafe area in Juhu. The sequence of events caused brief traffic disruption as locals gathered at the spot.

Eyewitnesses said the auto rickshaw appeared badly damaged after being crushed between vehicles. Akshay Kumar was seen immediately stepping out of his SUV along with members of his team. They helped lift the auto and assisted in pulling out the driver and passenger who were briefly trapped inside. An eyewitness told Hindustan Times, “It was scary to see the accident but thankfully everyone is safe.”

Authorities arrived soon after, and all those involved were checked for injuries. The auto driver and passenger were taken aside for medical assessment, though no serious injuries were confirmed. Police personnel and local residents worked together to clear the vehicles and ease congestion in the area.

The accident occurred just hours after Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna returned to Mumbai following a trip abroad to mark their twenty fifth wedding anniversary. The couple had shared moments from their vacation on social media earlier. Twinkle posted a video of them paragliding, writing, “The best part of our marriage? We always encourage each other to fly. Sometimes literally, like today! Here’s to 25 years of love, support and jumping off mountains @akshaykumar.”

Akshay also marked the occasion by sharing a wedding memory. He wrote, “When we got married this day in 2001, her mother had said ‘Beta, get ready to burst out laughing in the most weird situations because she’ll do exactly that.’ 25 years and I know ki meri mother-in-law kabhi jhooth nahi bolti hai…her daughter refuses to even walk straight… she prefers to dance through life instead😄 From day one to year twenty five, cheers to my lady who keeps me laughing, guessing and slightly anxious at times!
