CRIMINALS, LOVE & DEATH
Chapter 1- Unfamiliar
Astha was working overtime at the bank that night. She was finally done with her work and was ready to leave. She knew she needed an extremely long, hot relaxing bath before she went to bed tonight. She was waiting outside her office talking to herself, " Where is Aakash? He must be late today, as usual" , she sighed to herself.
There was no one to be seen on the road till far away. She looked around and found no one, and then was when she started to get scared. She pulled her phone out of her purse to give Aakash another call when someone snaked their arms around her and she started screaming on top of her voice.
"Sshh... Relax! It's just me! Aakash!" And then was when she shut up. " Don't you ever do that to me.. Understand?!" She was shouting at him.
She was upset throughout the whole car drive. Aakash tried to make her laugh but failed...miserably. Suddenly the car jerked a few times and stopped completely. Astha, who was already very annoyed after the long day at work and after Aakash's not so funny prank, she wasn't ready for more trouble.
" What happened?" She asked. " I think the petrol got over. I'll go see if there is any petrol station nearby" and with that Aakash left. Astha was left all alone in the the car, in a very unfamiliar place. She started to get a little scared but she calmed herself down a little by playing a little Candy Crush on her phone. 15 minutes had passed but Aakash hadn't returned yet. So she got down the car to see whether he was around or playing another prank on her.
She suddenly felt as if someone called her name and she turned around to see on the other side of the road, but she didn't find anything. She felt as if there was a movement in the bushes on the corner of the road and got frightened but she brushed that thought away. Someone called out to her again, and this time she heard it right and so she turned around and *Thud*! Everything blacked out. She fell down on the ground and now was unconscious.

Whispers. Yes, she could hear a few people whispering nearby. She slowly opened her eyes and suddenly she felt a sharp pain at the back of her head. She made herself stable and started to scan her environment. She did not know where she was. She saw shadows of a few men, those same people who were talking nearby. She could only hear a few words from them. "Kill", "Are you mad?", "Aakash" and "Shlok" were the only words she could make out. "Were they planning to kill me? They know who Aakash is? Who is this Shlok?", her mind was running with questions and thoughts. She understood that she was kidnapped, and was now finding ways to run away from there.
