IMO, results in all the full schedules are/ were manipulated.

So no surprise that JJ won last night. She was defly the most versatile.

Hope we are going to hear a lot from her. I suppose RK & JP may have

been #2 & #3.

This was best ever SRGMP finale - Hariharan was gr8 & so were ex-champs like Urmila & savni, rahul etc along with top 5 of current season.

IMHO, Urmila was the least versatile of all 'champions' across all schedules. She only sang laawnya in a semi-masculine voice and nothing else. BTW, did you know that Kaushik Deshpande taught Marathi (diction) to Rahul Saxena? They are good friends.

I don't watch the finale since it goes on and on for 4.5 hrs!

i watch them & all the serials only after recording (tata sky+) and fwd all the ads.

wondering what ppl like Prajakta Shukre, Anangha Dhomse (she shd have been there yest), Rahul Vaidya, Abhijit sawant / Kosambi, Sayli panse etc. ..are doing nowadays ?

Agree with U Mishkil. Hariharan was an absolute bliss. Although Savani just ruined that 'Bahon ke darmiyaa' song, she was breathless. I felt Juilee would have sung it much better.

And Urmila for a change did a very good job with Jayant P. on Sajda tera sajda. Jayant was extremely good in that song, a little more work on some urdu words, but I was very impressed with his rendition of this song 👍🏼, much better than JJ's "mala mhantyaat Punyachi maina". While I definitely agree that she deserved the title and is versatile, I did not apprecite her Punyachi maina. The thaska in that song was missing, unless that was an improvised version.

But overall, a very fair result considering the SRGMP history of fixing the winner. Plus the songs rendered by the Finalists and the guests all made sense, there was no nonsense, except that FBF skit. It was a long show for sure.

sajda is almost impossible to sing with the pitch of Rahat. But as u said Jayant did gr8 job.

Prajakta Shukre finished in the top 5-6 in the first edition of (Hindi) Indian Idol where Rahul Vaidya finished third and Abhijit Sawant won. She has cut an album or two and shifted to Mumbai. Rahul Vaidya has anchored a few shows and sung a few songs. He and Abhijit Sawant and esp Vaishali Bhaisne & Rahul Saxena had seemingly picked 'reality show participant' as a career option!

Abhijit Kosambi is not much heard from except at SRGMP shows and Sayali Panse is quite busy in Pune (firsta s a mother of twins) with 'Bhairav Te Bhairavi', 'Sangeet Saubhadra' and learning

classical music from Arati Ankalikar. Haven't heard much about Anagha Dhemse. Mangesh

Borgaonkar participates in various shows after doing many reality shows.

I am quite unhappy with Marathi music directors choosing Shreya, Sunidhi, Sonu & Kunal to sing

Marathi film songs instead of giving a chance to Bela, Madhura Datar, Vibhavari Apte, Sayali

Panse, Vaishali Bhaisne, Hrishikesh Ranade etc.

Anagha dhomse was seen recently along with Mangesh & 1 more i dont recollect where. But she should have been called in final along with chennai express abhilasha chellam. Also Kosambi is totally missing along with Dnyaneshwar mishram who sung such a great song vitthala...
