Ryan Thomas dating Bollywood Actress

Actor Ryan Thomas is dating Bollywood actress Amy Jackson.

The Coronation Street star was pictured with the 22-year-old, who is a former Miss Teen World, on a night out in London.

The pair, who initially met when he was judge for Miss World, have been enjoying a long-distance romance as Liverpudlian Amy now lives in India where she has carved a successful career as a Bollywood actress.

A source close to the couple told the MailOnline: Ryan and Amy have started seeing each other, they first met a few years ago and have recently met up again .

It's early days but they're great together - Amy is a successful Bollywood actress, with a schedule to match - so it's not easy for them to find time together, but they both really want to make it work.'

The actress, who moved to India back in 2010, has been sharing pictures of herself with the 29-year-old on Instagram.

One image shows Ryan, who plays Jason Grimshaw on the soap, with his around the beautiful brunette, which she captioned: My Absolute Favourites @anatanaka @ryanjamesthomas '

In another picture the father-of-one can be seen posing for a picture with her during a night out.

It's thought the couple met up this week before Amy jetted back to Mumbai for more filming.

Clearly enjoying her time in London, she wrote: Love waking up in the city.. Haven't been this happy in a while #London.'

Ryan was previously in a relationship with fellow Corrie actress Tina O' Brien from 2003 until 2009 and they have a daughter Scarlett, who was born in 2008.

Tina, 30, is now dating personal trainer Adam Crofts and they are expecting their first child, which she announced last month by posting a shot of an ultrasound scan on her page and writing: 'So @adstraining85 and I have some lovely news...'

Meanwhile Amy's ex European champion boxer Joseph Selkirk was given a 12-month community order and ordered to pay 300 costs after he admitted assaulting her during a row at a hotel in November of 2013.

Amy , who made her debut in Tamil cinema in 2010, previously revealed that she learnt about Bollywood by watching Shilpa Shetty in the reality show Big Brother'.

Since her first role in Madrasapattinam which won her rave review in the female lead in Arya, she has become a huge hit in India and was voted the number 22 in Times of India's Most Desirable Woman of 2012 and No 7 in their 2012 Most Promising Female Newcomer.

A spokesperson for Ryan declined to comment.
