PROLOGUE
At Delhi High Court (Civil Court)
"Mr. Sinha claims that; he went to gold shop intend to buy a ring for his fiance. He saw one ring and then saw another that he thought it would look good on his fiance and then another one. He couldn't decide which ring he wants for his fiance. Rather than choosing one ring, he just picked them all and hid in his clothing. So your honour, it's not that my client can't buy them but it's some kind of physiological problem. My client has a record of similar cases where it's proved by the reputed medical practitioner about his physiological problem. His intention is to do the shoplifting but it happens with him when he is mentally stressed. These are the medical report your honour" geet handed them to the clerk who was sitting in front of the judge to pass on them to judge.
Geet looked into each judge's eyes as she slowly paced. She could see that some of them actually wanted to believe me.
That was nice of them. Obviously, not being clinically brain-dead, they didn't believe me, but they wanted to, and it was the thought that counted.
After examining the entire proofs judge has dismissed the court for half an hour recess time.

Half an hour later
Geet stood in front of the judge, delivering her closing statement "That's his story your honour. If you feel the prosecution has not proven their point, then you must consider my plea to spare him from this case. Thank you"
Geet sat down with as much dignity as she could muster, as an opposition lawyer who was looked tired 50 year old man, the public prosecutor rose to his feet addressing the judge by clearing his throat.
Public prosecutor "Mr. Sinha has 6 set of finger rings, two necklace set and two diamond rings...hid in his inner jacket and in his pant. As per his previous record, mr.sinha has been charged for guilty in two cases already. Medical reports can be fake or created. Who says that rich people wouldn't steal? So your honour... I request you to please use common sense. Thank you"
He sat down again as geet continued to stare straight ahead. The judge declared Mr. Sinha as guilty and charged him to pay the finality.
Geet gathered her things as the other public prosecutors and defenders working on the next cases set up.
Geet saw her two best friends waiting for her to come out and she is well prepared for the humiliation that she knew would be coming in her way.
Devansh Avasti and Maan Singh Khurana were good looking and dashing famous prosecutors; a very good looking and hearth throbs. They usually worked together on some cases, but these days they just likes to tease me to death.
In fact, it seemed to be their favourite pastime. But geet never mind their teasing personally though, as she was deeply in love with Mr. Maan Singh Khurana.
"A physiological problem? It more sounded like he has some dual personality.." dev laughed at her firing the first shot.
Geet "Dev..it's shame to have a finger prints on your fair cheeks..don't provoke me to do something " geet warned him shoving her case papers into her bag.
Maan "Miss.Handa let's celebrate ...party meri tarafse huh? ".. maan tried to control his laughter.
Geet "you are finding this so funny, Mr. Khurana? I am not afraid to take you down too, you know; I work with two hundred criminal defense lawyers" geet saw him try to control his laughter as she controlled her anger.
At the same time geet heard her friend meera's voice behind her. Geet turned around to look at her friend's pained face.
"I just tried to defend one of my clients who claimed he does laundry for living turns out he have a collection of ladies blouse at his house...the prosecution had 35 witnesses whose blouses my client has stolen ...the witnesses have the matching saaries with them.."
Geet "I can understand your pain meera".. geet said patting her on the back.
Dev asked meera "Did you put on that your client is under some mental stress which led him to commit that crime?" Meera just nodded to him with still frowning.
Maan "I loved it when she said, he has physiological problem ...Highlight of the case..." maan leaned on the wall beside geet who was standing. Geet could smell his spicy scent with a trace of cinnamon and sandal wood, Mr. Khurana even smelled attractive.
Geet "I am so glad that we amuse you guys...you two have no idea what it;s like to have to stand there and say that with a straight face.." Geet turned quickly to face maan and her mouth almost dropped open.. hain babaji... maine maan ko hamesha court room main goorti thi aur inkhey saat main kitni baar baitkey deal negotiate kiya hain. Aur argument bhi kiya hain...per kabhi bhi maan mere ittne kareeb nahi aaye ... Wow. geet realized that she was just staring at him stupidly and managed to pull together before making herself laughing stock.
Maan "Tch..tch ..poor miss. Handa, can I do something for you?" he said and smiled looking at me curiously.
Geet (St) "That smile, that smile has made me to lose my sanity and warmed my heart. Mr. Khurana was too attractive for my own good. With him standing right here next to me, I could see that his eyes were a gorgeous chocolate brown, his perfect M shaped lips and his light stubble make me look like a rusty enigmatic old film hero. I started imagining how he could kiss me with those perfect shaped lips and how it feels to have his drums stick like fingers touching me "
Geet "yeah ...you can do lot many things to me " geet mumbled without thinking..When she realized her nonsensical talk her eyes widened...hey babaji..aap mujhse hey kay kya kehalvarahey ho?....
"Things! ...like ..like haa..things ...like you shouldn't tease me..And and...If you tease me ...i can be..." Geet searched for something "Dangerous? " hain? Geet closed her eyes and felt her face get hot with embarrassment..
"I think that teasing you could be very dangerous." Maan said with a cocky grin snapping geet's trail of thoughts.
Geet had finished collecting up her papers and started to clear everyone else's papers too. Mr. Khurana was watching geet do it with an amused look on his face. Geet wondered what he was thinking... probably, missing case from mental asylum
