CHAPTER 5

Meera parked her car infront of maan's penthouse building. After their visit to the hospital, meera drove them all in her innova dropping off one by one as Maan, Dev and yash were injured at fight in coffee hut. Maan's injuries were pretty bad compared to Dev and yash. So meera felt sorry for them and offered to drop them off their respective flats.

Maan had a bandage over his forehead, a cut near lips and a sprain bandage over his right wrist.

Geet opened her passenger seat door, stepped out of the car and immediately helped maan with the door.

Maan had his eyes glued on geet's face stepping out of the car. Geet's eyes filled up once again looking at his forehead. How painful it was for him to get stitched on open wound? She has cried looking at his pained face while doctor tending at his wounds. Maan pulled her closer gently; he kept his bandaged hand on her waist casually.

"Hey..." maan wiped her tears from back of his free hand.

"I am sorry, mere wajese aapko kittni chot pounchi" geet said looking at the cut on his lips.

"Hey..geet..Common don't be formal..." maan's face cringed with pain and pleasure when geet caressed the cut near to his lips, slightly touching his lips.

Maan held her little fingers which are caressing his lips bring them close to his mouth to kiss.

Geet felt her stomach doing somersault when his soft warm lips kiss her fingers. This is something dream come true.

Geet managed to form few words "Thank you. Please take care maan" geet said giving his coat back.

At the same time meera honked to let them know, it's getting late for them.

"I will...and you too" saying this maan kissed her right cheek. Geet held her cheek with her jaws dropped open, stared at smiling mischievous maan.

Meera shoved her head through passenger window and saw blushing geet.

"Oye! Aajhi bacchon ka naam rakkna hian? Common yaar geet I am so sleepy, after this roller coaster week I need long hours sleep... bye Mr.Khurana...take care aur uss chichore Dev ka bhi kayal rakkna ...good night"

Maan replied to meera while still staring at geet "Good night meera...aaj mujhe neend kaha aayegi.."

"Good night geet...bye" maan wished geet.

Geet reluctantly sat in car, looking at maan. Geet waved for a bye before meera drove off.

Maan watched them drove off still smiling, his cell beeped in pant pocket. He took out his cell and checked at the text which brought a big smile on his face. He kissed at the cell couple of times. By then guard of that building was back from his break and saw maan kissing at his cell. Hey tho wakil babu hain na? inhe kya hogaya...hey tho kabhi bhi aise behave kartey...kahi hey pagal tho nahi hogai?

At Geet's and meera's apartment

Geet changed into her usual shorts-tee and walked to kitchen to make come hot chocolate looking at the cell for nth time, checking inbox for reply from maan.

After dropping off maan, geet texted him immediately in the car "Agar aapko neend nahi ayi tho mujhe batadijega ..I will give you a company till you are sleepy".

Geet walked to balcony with her hot chocolate mug in her hand while still looking at the cell's screen.

Geet heard meera calling her from kitchen, "meera I have made some hot chocolate for you too..it's in the flask.."

Meera sat beside geet with her mug in hand "So?"

Meera asked while sipping at her hot chocolate.

Geet "So? What? " geet asked with black look.

Meera "Geet..I will pour this hot chocolate over your head if you don't spill the details..." meera threatened her with finality.

Geet "Meera...I don't know what more you want to know..You were there all the time..." geet replied her looking at her cell.

Meera "Fine..don't tell...I know how to make you spill everything...by the way how was your first cheeky kiss?" meera asked smiling broadly .

Geet panicked and asked her "what kiss? "

"fine ..don't tell" saying this meera kept her mug aside and leaned over geet, bringing her face near to her..Trying to kiss her on the cheek. Quickly geet pushed her face aside before she kiss her cheek where maan had kissed.. "meera...stop it...you can't kiss my cheeks" geet said moving far away from her.

Meera smirked at her "dekha? ...abhi si ittni possessive huh? ..maan has kissed you on that cheek..and you don't want my friendly kiss...this is not fair geet..."meera pouted cutely pretending to be hurt.

Babajee, hey meera ka dheemag ittni tej kaise chalti hain...dekha? kaise mere bina bole mujhese such ugalwliya...kahi aap inke saat milehuwe tho nahi?

Meera "Geet..! Stop complaining to babajee..I can bribe him more than you know.." said smiling at geet.

Geet's cell started to ring flashing his name, Mr.ho-so-hot-&sexy, meera's grin said that she is caught. Meera left her alone yawning, murmured good night..Before leaving her bedroom.

Geet quickly picked the call "Hi .." said bit breathlessly.

Meera teased her more "mujhe teri gaal pe gud night kiss dene nahi dii...katti.." meera said loud enough to hear whoever is on phone..

Maan chuckled at meera's comment "Hi.." a shiver ran thorough geet when she heard his voice on phone for the first time.

"H-H-Hi..ma-ma-maan..how are you?" geet replied bit nervously.

She wasn't expecting his call and plus his sexy voice tickled her senses..When she didn't hear him reply, she got worried "Are you alright? Is your head paining? did you had your dinner? Have you taken the medicine? "geet asked him non-stop.

Maan "geet..geet..I am fine and yes I had my dinner, that's why i called you rather texting you"

Geet left a sigh breath "aapne tho mujhe darrahidiya tha..I was so worried you know when I didn't receive your reply" asked without break in words.

Maan "geet easy..! You can breathe! I am absolutely fine" maan replied while pulling a billow under his arms.

Geet lay on the bean bag which was kept in balcony , looking at the clear sky and twinkling stars.

"Geet I ..I don't know what to talk, It feels so weird yet nice at the same time to talk on phone.." maan said bit awkwardly.
