Charity Event Day

Evening 5.00 PM

Geet came out of shower with still water dripping over the carpet. Her cell was continuously ringing since from past 10 minutes.

Geet quickly tied the stach of bath robe around her waist and walked across the bed to pick up the call.

She saw that maan's name flashing on screen and smiled "Maan.." geet said loudly.

"This is the 100^th time you are calling me in 1 hour, I just had my shower" geet said and switched on her hair dryer.

Maan wanted them to go together for the venu; he wanted to ask whether she will join him at his place or her's "Shower? By the way what are you wearing now?"maan asked her in a teasing tone.

Babaji ghuma phirakey maan ko har waqt usi ke bare main soojti hain

"Maan stop teasing me and help me to get dressed" before she realize what had she said.

"mera matlab hain..Suggestion" geet said immediately
Maan chukled over phone "I can't help or suggest you in that geet"

"Huh? You don't want to help me choosing a dress for the event?" bit hurt and surprised at his comment, geet asked him.

"Geet! I said I can't help you in choosing over the dresses but I didn't say that I won't help you in undressing" Maan replied naughtily.

"Maan..! bye ..mujhe abhi ready honi hain..aap mujhe distract matt karo.."geet was about to cut the call.

"Geet! Geet! Wait a second..Open the door, I am standing at your apartment's door" maan said quickly before she cut the call again.

"you are here? It's not 7 yet..Maan I am not ready..meera has not came back from court" geet said without taking break.

Maan "Geet..Geet! will you open the door now?" maan asked her looking at the wrist watch impatiently.

Geet checked herself in the mirror; her knee length robe has covered her modesty except her long slender milky legs.

Geet opened door and her jaws dropped open looking at Maan in black tuxedo with a bow. His hair was gelled finely and combed back. All total he was looking smoking hot.

Babaji, hey Maan tho Jaanlewa hain..

"Won't you invite me geet?" maan asked her flashing his perfect set of teeths.

"Ma- Maan Ja-Jaanlewa" geet did it again, blabbared her thoughts openly before she gather herself maan came inside and closed the door behind him. Geet turned to leave but maan held her arms quickly pulling her closer.

"Jaanlewa? Hmm?"maan asked bringing his face near to her.

"woh! Slip tounge hogaya..Mera matlab tounge slip hogaya ..Please mujhe jaane dho maan. I need to get ready for the party" geet tried to free her self from his hold.

"I will let you go on one condition" maan said while caressing her cheeks by his nose.

"And what is that?" geet asked him by titlting her neck backwards giving more access to him.

"Wear this for me, will you?" Maan handed her a gift wrapped box which he hid it behind his coat.

Geet was exicted at the same time surprised, his first gift to her. "You got me a gift? Mereliye? Kya hain ismain?" geet took the box and shook it.

Maan "Open it" he replied while taking seat on sofa.

Geet tored the gift wrapper with care like she was touching something very preacious.

"Geet! do you planned to open that gift untill tomorrow by this time?" Maan said checking at his cell.

Geet hurried and opened the gift box, her eyes widened by looking at the gift he has choosen for her. A beautiful silver color saari, it looked so expensive. And there was a designer tag on it,

Babaji, Maan ko kaise pata mere favourite designer ke bare main? It's so rare collection of Sanghini brand's designer Mr. Tanish Kapur.

Geet instantly liked the saari "Maan this is so beautiful..!"

Maan came near to geet "Nothing is beautiful compared to you geet, anything infront of you looks so dull. The beauty of this saari increases only when you wear it"

"Thank you!" geet was overwhelmed with so many emotions, she wanted to hug him, cry loads and laugh at the same time. No one has ever said something like this before.

Geet moved closer to maan, and gave peck on his both cheeks.

"I will be back in a while"saying this geet ran to her bedroom with saari in her hand.

Maan caressed his both cheeks where geet has kissed on; a slight smile formed on his face when he thought about the surprise he has planned for her tonight.

It wasn't much longer before they left the apartment and started driving towards the venu.

Geet was nerveous to meet his family and over that maan haven't said a word since she stepped out from her apartment.

Babaji..Maan tho kuch kehnahirahe.. mere taraf dekhbhi nahi rahe.. inke dheemag main kuch tho chalraha hain.. warna hey ek bhi moka nahi chodthe mujhe tang karnekeliye. Aapko kuch pata hian tho please mujhe boliye na?

Geet "Mujhe boliye na? "said it loud again.

"Kya bolna hain geet?"Maan asked her who was driving quitly. He wasn't sure how to express himself at the moment when she is looking this gorgeous and sexy.

"Kuch nahi.." Geet turned her head to the window watching sparlking street lights and moving vehicles.

Another torturous 10 minutes drive, maan eventually pulled into parking zone of Convention hall where the charity event is taking place.

Maan stepped out of the car and walked to Geet's side to open the door.

Geet "Maan I think it's a bad idea. I want to go home" said nervously while stepping out.

Maan took her both hands in his hands, kissed on them "Geet...! just think only you and me in the party and rest all don't exist"

"Do you trust me?"maan asked her again when she didn't reply.

Geet nodes her head for a yes.

"Then let's go inside" maan held her hand and walked towards the building.

As they entered the hall, Geet watched a group of people waved at them. They all immediately headed straight for Maan and then there was a lot of hugging going on. Even though Maan wasn't far away from here but they were and obviously a very close family. There was certainly no question that they were related.

Maan's father, Mr. Raj Singh Khurana was still managed to look handsome in his mid 50's with pepper-salt mixed streaks hair. He didn't have the aggressively friendly demeanor that a lot of Jugdes have, but rather, he seemed laid back and genuinely warm. Now geet knew from where Maan has inherited all those features.

No doubt Maan's mother was beautiful. She wore a beautiful cotton orange saari and had a long straight hair and the same chocolate brown eyes that Maan had. No one can say that she is a mother of two and very successful politician.

Another guy who looked like a younger version of Maan's dad Mr.Raj S Khurana. All of them except Mr.Raj Khurana have those pair of chocolate brown eyes.

Eyes, Babaji ..which at the moment were fixed on me, and thankfully, looked friendly.

"You must be Geet" she said in a soft voice. "Oh my! You're gorgeous." She gave her a warm smile. "I'm Sukanya Maan's Mom and we're so happy meet you Geet." She came over and pulled her into a friendly hug.

"I guess you figured out that that's my Mom and that's my Dad. This is my brother, Shaan Singh Khurana" Maan said.

"Wow..!Bhai" Shaan said. "She's hot." Maan turned and glared at him.

"What? Mom said she was gorgeous!" shaan came forward to hug geet but Mr.Raj broke in

"It's really pleasure to meet you Geet beta, we are pleased to have you here"

Geet bent and touched his feet to take blessings.

"Thanks for inviting me uncle..err...sir"

"Uncle will do beta" Mr.Raj laughed said.

"They were thrilled to hear you were coming!" Shaan said immediately "They're hoping Bhai will finally settle down."

"Shaan..!!!" Mr.Raj S K said in a warning tone.

"What did I say now?" Shaan asked sounding exasperated.

He started walking toward geet when Maan stopped him in mid and asked.

"Shaan where do you think you're going?"

"I want to hug geet and say a proper hello"

"You already said hello." Maan got irritated.

"Actually if you'll recall, I said that she was hot and you got all huffy."

"Shaan..!" Mr. Raj warned him again.

"Maan, why don't you come with me while your Mom and Geet talk? I want you to meet someone..and you too shaan come with me" Mr.Raj said.

"You need both of us ? Maybe I want to get to know her better too." Shaan said looking at Geet. His father and Maan both gave him a stern look to shaan.

"Okay! Fine..I am coming .." shaan said lazily.

"See you later ladies"shaan bowed infront of his mom and geet before leaving with Maan and Mr.Raj Khurana.

"So did you and Maan meet in court?" Mrs. Sukanya asked.

"Yes, he and I have been assigned cases in front of the same judge frequently." Geet replied

"Is he a good lawyer?" Mrs.Sukanya asked again.

"Yes.. he's a very good lawyer." Mrs. Sukanya beemed and geet realized that she is proud of her son's work, which geet found very cute.

"since how long you two are dating?" Mrs. Sukanya asked.

Before geet answer to mrs. Sukanya's question, Just then she heard Shaan's voice on microphone.

"Ladies and Gentelmen..! Can I have your attention please" shaan said looking at fully packed hall.

When he had eveyone's attention "Thank you all..! this evening we all gathered here for a mighty cause, every year my family organizes this charity event to raise trust fund for women and children's welfare and development. I m truly honoured to take part in this cause and my whole family is very thankful each one of you who are gathered here today. I would like to start this beautiful evening with a song of mine. So ladies and gentlemen I would like to dedicate this song to a very beautiful lady who is present here today and also my soon-to-be-bhabhi" Shaan said looking at Geet who was sitting at the near table with his mom.

Geet choked on the water she was sipping at. Mrs. Sukanya smiled at geet and pressed her hands as if she knew this was going to happen.

Shaan started to sing a song from his recent composition "Muskarane ki waajha tum ho..Gunganane ki waja tum ho..jiya jaye na jaye na jaye na O-re-piyare..."

"Common everybody..bring your partners on the dance floor" shaan encouraged everyone And suddenly Maan stood infront of Geet offering his hand.

"May I have the honour to dance with most beautiful Lady?"maan asked her to which geet followed him like she was under the influence of Maan's magical spell.

"Khwaishon ki barishon main beigh sang jaana...jiya jayena jayena jayena ore piya re"

Maan pulled her close swaying slowly to the rhythm "Look at me Geet"

P.S: Well Hello there..! How are you all? Yeah I am late again and I can only say sorry for that . So I have a very important news to share with you all. I have decided to end this story in couple of chapters for below reasons, one is time constraint and two is responses & likes on this story. I thought to include few more Court scenes but I just want to end it here. I really don't want to force anyone to read and comment on any stories of mine, it's just not my thing. I am very thankful to those who have always liked-commented-waited-supported me in my lows and highs. Let me know if you want to read further, I might come up with season 2 😆.
