Why Ranbir Kapoor & Rishi Kapoor Had a Huge Showdown

The Kapoor khandaan has always been famous for their loud, boisterous nature. Like cousins Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoorrevealed on Koffee With Karan, their dinner table often resembles an Italian mafia family having animated conversations. However, unfortunately, one such conversation between father and son duo Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor turned ugly when the two had a big showdown.

From what I was told of the incident, RK felt that his dad speaks too much in public and in the press about him and his relationships, whether it be with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone, or now Katrina Kaif. As you may have realised, the veteran actor has also often made comments saying that "any girl would date him" and "this is the age for him to date."

As you may have probably guessed from various interviews, the relationship between these two has always been sort of tense. In fact, I hear that, over the last few months, they haven't really had that many conversations at all. And now it turns out that Ranbir has told his dad he doesn't want to read anymore stuff coming from him in the press about his personal life.

Ranbir's not the only one with the problem, though. Rishi Kapoor, too, doesn't approve of his son having constant altercations with the media, which has been happening somewhat frequently recently. For example, there was that instance where Ranbir snatched the camera off a photographer. More recently, he threatened a camera man who was trying to take a photo of him in his Bombay Velvet look.

It has been a testing time for the two, and we can only hope that they resolve their differences in the near future!
