Case title: CID Giraftaar I

The episode begins with a lady fuming inside a hotel, trying impatiently to reach ACP sir. ACP sir answers her call and tells that he is almost there. During this time, the lady gets a bit finicky in the hotel and a waiter sees a gun inside her bag and instantly informs the manager. ACP sir enters and the lady accuses him for being responsible for her son's death. ACP sir realizes that his attempt to calm her is futile when she throws an envelope with money on to ACP sir's face. ACP sir moves from there when after sometime, the lady warns ACP sir and she clicks her gun and falls back dead.

ACP sir is seen in the morgue when Abhijeet sir walks in. The corpse is revealed to be an undercover cop of the team, whose mission was kept clandestine from the rest of the team. He tells it to Abhijeet sir. The undercover cops were on a mission to mingle with the underworld dons, become one among them, collect information about them and help CID whitewash the entire underworld. ACP sir entrusts Abhijeet sir with this information with the promise that he wouldn't reveal it even to Daya sir.

Abhijeet sir and the team are seen coming to a bar. They spread out and Abhijeet sir goes in for a drink. As he turns to move to another place, he accidentally collides with a man called Teja and his CID badge fells down to drown their plans. Teja calls out to his buddies and a massive fight begins (Abhijeet sir did a heart-stopping dive! Baap re!) at the same place between CID and them. Teja manages to get out and get into a car. Abhijeet sir, (amazingly) climbs on top of the car. The driver jams the breaks suddenly and Abhijeet falls down. When he gets up, he finds Teja's dead body being thrown out of the car. He goes to him and checks his pulse. As he gets up, a needle like thing pierces his neck and he falls unconscious. Sometime later the rest of the team comes and finds Teja's body but Abhijeet sir missing.

In the Forensic Lab, Salunkhe sir examines the body and says that he was shot from a very close range. ACO sir enters and says that he had wanted Abhijeet to capture him alive but Abhijeet had killed him and was missing now. Sachin comes to his support saying that Abhijeet sir was an honest officer and would never do such a thing. ACP sir says that but this time he has done it and that it was his blunder to have placed the responsibility on Abhijeet's shoulders.

Two cleaners are engaged in their own routine work and they see an unconscious man lying by the side of the road, a few feet away from them. Assuming the man to be a usual alcoholic, they turn him but the man is none other than Abhijeet sir. They make an attempt to steady him but his giddiness makes him stagger. He tries to remember what happened with him the previous night but fails to recall and also finds his badge and license missing. The two men aid him with some money and ask him to go home via rickshaw.

While in the rickshaw, he is still in a dazed state and asks the man to stop the music. He asks for water and splashes it few times across his face. Once done, he gives back the bottle to the man but then is shocked to find blood stain on his pants. He gasps but manages to calm the driver. He reaches home.

In his house, he drinks some water and changes his clothes. He is still unsteady. He takes his blood stained pants with him for testing.

He enters the CID bureau and others are tensed calling ACP sir and Daya sir for they were missing. Abhijeet sir too is shocked at this and asks them to try for their landline numbers. They say that they received no answer from there either. Freddy sir asks Abhijeet sir where he had been and why his phone was being unable to reach. Abhijeet sir says that maybe the phone battery went down. Sachin asks him what was in the cover he was holding. He just says it'd an important evidence and they all leave for the crime spot.

In the crime spot, Salunkhe sir tells Abhijeet sir that both Kallu and Bhiku were shot from the front itself from a very close range. Abhijeet sir recalls himself holding the gun unsteadily and shooting Kallu. He clears his mind when Salunkhe sir tells that the killer was standing exactly at the same place where Abhijeet sir was standing then. Abhijeet sir instantly steps back. Dushant asks that if the victims were in one place how come the blood is lying a considerable distance from them. Just then Tarika finds two more shells which brings in the assumption that two more people were missing.

Tarika is seen arriving at the bureau. She turns when Abhijeet sir calls her. She is taken aback to find Abhijeet sir in such a condition, frightened and tired. He gives the pant to her and asks her to test it but declines from coming into the lab for fear of Dr. Salunkhe. He says that this has to be done secretly and the pants were his. Tarika says that she can't hide anything from her boss and if necessary she will inform ACP sir too. Abhijeet sir tries to call ACP sir too now. But of no avail.

An old man, who is none other than ACP sir in disguise, comes to a store and asks for a towel for Rs.10. The man there ridicules him for being stupid and then the owner of the shop comes and he asks for the same. He hands over the 10Re. note and the owner makes some verifications. Then ACP sir moves away. The owner asks the other man to hang the towel to dry. He does the same. ACP sir catches an auto and moves off to Malad.

A frustrated man inside a house is seen counting all his misfortunes when he sees the red towel. Seeing his signal, he hurries outside to and catches an auto to Malad. He did not see two men on a bike watching him.

ACP sir is impatient inside a house in Malad and wonders why his man hadn't come still. The man arrives at the gates and instantly shot by the two people. Hearing the gunshot, ACP sir rushes outside and finds him dead. He vows to wipe out every single person behind the killing of CID undercover officers.
