Too much pressure on young actors?

I feel nowadays there is so much pressure on these new generation of actors and actresses to have every film of theirs work. As soon as one of their films doesn't work people start mocking them and saying how now they can't be a superstar
I was going through the filmography of some of the biggest superstars in Bollywood today, and from looking at the verdicts of some of those films, a lot of them also had many times where their films were not working
For example HR had a string of four flops after k3g very early in his career, then koi mil gaya came which was a huge hit, and after that he started to have back to back hits.
So what I am trying to say is that the new generation of actors need time to grow and go through their movies, and if they do have flops or films that don't work out then that doesn't mean that its the end of the world, their movies can start working in the future.
So do u guys think too much pressure is put on the new actors and actresses?
ps I think HR is a great actor with a great career, I just used his early career as an example 😊 and plz don't turn this into a comparison thread of careers and plz don't fight, plz stick to the topic.

The newcomers act as if they are superstars. Stop behaving like one, pressure apne aap se kam ho jayega.

For outsiders, I believe the pressure is very high and they should be aware of it too.. look at Ayushmaan.. he was considered the best debutant in 2012 amongst everyone who debuted.. 2013 he had only film Nautanki Saala which didn't do well, in the meanwhile, more newcomers came in and competition increased, no one was ready to pay him 3 crores to say yes to roles, there were suddenly a lot of options. Slowly the hype around him died out.. Yami too, as she hadn't signed any good projects. Now Bewakoofiyan and Total Siyappa failed and both have been almost written out, they aren't even included in promising newcomers anymore. Sad, bcos I feel they are more talented than some others, but that is unfortunately the way it is. They have to deliver with every film cos the competition is too high.

I don't think there's much pressure on outsiders. There's more pressure on the star kids to be like their dad/mom/uncle/aunty/chacha/chachi.
The outsiders rather have the pressure to perform better. Coz they are much better actors.

The Newcomers currently have it easier they have lesser pressure than what newcomers faced before.

You cannot dismiss when Hrithik, Abhishek or Fardeen entered the industry the 3 Khans were not too old.

Now the Khans cannot play college students or really young roles like they did till 2006. The previous batch had to fight with superstars but today's current new crop had to fight with each other.

Sid, Varun and Arjun are competing for same roles the college kid or the romantic love interest of Aalia or Shraddha they are not competing with Salman or SRK's roles. If they can't leave a mark now then they'll be harshly judged.

Another advantage which young actors enjoy are the multiplex viewership and youth fanbase. Close to 80% movie goers are youth they like watching younger heroines. A college guy would prefer to fantasize about a hot and young heroine than a married or commited 30 plus actress.

Less budget films are made, experimental cinema is appreciated the industry is doing well if they cannot prove now then when?

They cannot make every shitty film 100 crore like the Khans, its fine! but atleast don't make your 15 cr or 35 cr budgeted film a flop if its marketed hugely all over.

Dono pe pressure hai.

Outsider pe pressure hai that every movie should be hit and in first movie itself they need to make a mark so that industry sits up and takes notice. If their movies are not hits thereafter, then the directors will move on to the star kids if those starkids show a slight improvement, cos that improvement is hailed and hyped like anything, saying yeh talentless nahi hai, 'potential' hai. Any film of a hyped star kid debutant gets more media attention than a talented outsider newcomer, and directors would want to cash on that for their future films.
Star kids pe pressure hai to prove that they are really talented and deserve to be in the industry and get rid of the notion that 'yeh star kid hai isliye films mil rahi hain' OR live upto their parents reputation.
But still I feel outsiders have more pressure on them cos they need to ensure critical acclaim + commercial success in every film for first few films at least, while star kids get more opportunities even if they are ripped apart or first few films crash. Many outsiders come from modest homes as well, that also changes things a little. Work milna band ho gaya toh sab khatam. Pressure to keep the cash flowing in, sometimes leads to signing trashy films also (Rascals and Rajjo which Kangana did for money).. when those films don't work, your graph goes down. Multiple pressures hain.

The newcomers have it much easier these days if there is some form of acceptance. They are deluged with movies and endorsements as soon as they start off. They start enjoying the perks of stardom at times even before their debut films hit theaters which people like Salman, SRK would have enjoyed after 5-10 years of being in business. So when you enjoy the perks of stardom you should be ready for the downsides too.

The only problem they face is that there is way too many options. If one actor isn't doing well then producers/directors have 5-7 other choices for their films. Hrihik was pretty much in the race alone.
