So when you enjoy the perks of stardom you should be ready for the downsides too.

I somewhat agree and disagree...acceptance from audience is hard 2 get nowadays esp the multiplex ones...the r too demanding of the hero and heroines...nachgaana ana chahiye...thy shud b able 2 act..role meaty hona chahiye..physique..individual impact as a brand...personal gossip...whereas look at Amitabh..shahrukh..salman...thy r more famous bcs of their iconic characters..offcourse thy r talented and had tht connect with the audience 2 reach where thy r 2day but i feel bein a bollywood hero is too demanding nowadays...thrs too much competition and how ur offscreen..also matters nowadys...so thr is too much pressure but i feel out of all the newsbies within 3 yrs thr will b filtering and only those whose performance and films has done well will secure their place..

Supply and demand! I think supply is exceeding the demand. Therez no need for crapy 2 movies every Friday. Bollywood economy is on all time high coz of these biggies- 100 crs 200 crs... that keeps it going. But ppl r not ready to spend money every friday. pirated dvds r dirt cheap and thats no good news for BW.
so what abt young actors? If BW cuts down on quantity and focus on quality. How wud they get a chance? who cares? prove ur talent even in side role rather than in crappy b grade movie.

Its a showbiz, pressure is on every1. Ask Rajpal Yadav or Johny lever... or any1. Talent, hard work, personal relations (good behavior) , luck, charm.. can take u long way.

BW economy is on all time high but it doesnt mean more cheap movies, rather they shud look at opening a multiplex chain like "Rialto" for independent movies. I think it will happen but later than soon.

We bolly buffs know all abt these newcomers but general public dont. Small movies and medium to big movies need separate space. Comparisions shud stop.
