Hi guys,
Everyone ran, Kalpi too. Kalpi went and stood behind Kamla Maa who was pestering Pakhi to speak up. And she did, with a slap across Kalpi's face, the impact so strong that Kalpi stumbled and fell down! Shock, pain and surging anger gripped Kalpi, who demanded an explanation. What she got in return were the words that will never leave her, not till her last breath.
I am extremely new to EMA forum, and I have spent my day reading some beautiful FFs and SSs and I just couldn't do anything else. The stories you guys write are beautifully penned out, with emotions captured so beautifully.
That's the reason I decided to give writing a shot too. So taking inspiration from all you RagNa fans here I present to you "Save The Night" the Tale of Raghav and Kalpi's love!
Their words pierced her heart as she struggled to fight back the tears that had welled up more than once in her eyes. She no more cared about the menacing eyes that glared at her. All she knew was that she needed to stand strong, alone but strong. Her heart ached at the empty eyes of her mother, at the silence of her father. Once again she had failed, she searched for some kind of trust in her mother's eyes, but she knew with Pakhi as her competition it was like searching for water in a desert. She stood all-alone in the chawl, surrounded by people who were willing to rip her apart with their accusations! Pakhi's swollen, red eyes were enough to melt her Kamla Maa's heart but Kalpi's incessant pleading had gone unnoticed.
EARLIER THAT NIGHT:
The night had been cruelly and excruciatingly long, Kalpi missed him. His flight from Delhi had just taken off and she was eagerly waiting to see him tomorrow. She never knew her wait for tomorrow was going to be long and nasty.
Pakhi's scream pierced the silent air; she was withering in anger. Kamla Maa, Vitthal, Pakhya and Kalpi all ran out at this sudden scream that had broken the silence of the night! The darkness of the chawl was soon replaced by lights from each house. Everyone had woken up! Seeing Pakhi in that state frightened Kamla Maa who ran below to meet her daughter.
