Setting: Mumbai, Virani Mansion and Virani Textiles Empire
Tone: Drama, suspense, romance, and multi-generational family intrigue
This is inspired by season 1 of kyunki sass bhi kabhi bahu thi when Mihir was presumed dead.
So we starts from here....
Chapter 1: Tulsi’s Dilemma
Setting: Virani Mansion, Mumbai – late evening. Rain patters against the grand windows, echoing Tulsi’s restless heart.
[Scene 1 – Tulsi Alone]
Tulsi sits by the window, her hands instinctively resting on her growing belly. The news that Mihir is presumed dead weighs heavily on her.
Tulsi (whispering to herself):
"Presumed… dead? Mihir… gone… and now… this child… how will I survive without him?"
Her maid peeks in nervously.
Maid:
"Ma’am… everyone is waiting in the drawing room. They… they want to speak to you."
Tulsi (closing her eyes, steadying herself):
"Very well… I’ll face them."
[Scene 2 – The Family Confrontation]
Tulsi enters the drawing room. Mansukh and Savita sit with stern but worried expressions. The atmosphere is tense.
Mansukh (sternly):
"Tulsi… the family cannot wait. The child… the Virani legacy… your future… everything is at stake."
Tulsi (shaken, voice soft but firm):
"I… I lost Mihir! He… he’s only presumed dead, and you… you want me to marry someone else?"
Savita (voice trembling, trying to balance firmness and care):
"Tulsi… we are not trying to hurt you. But the child… and the family… you must think practically. Anupam Kapadia will protect you."
Tulsi (almost whispering, tears in her eyes):
"Protect me? Or chain me to someone else’s life? How can I… when Mihir… my husband… my love… might still be alive?"
[Scene 3 – Anupam Enters]
Anupam steps in. Calm, dignified, yet his eyes show the weight of the situation.
Anupam:
"Tulsi… I am honored that your family trusts me. I… I cannot replace Mihir. But I promise… I will never harm you or this child. I will only protect both."
Tulsi (voice rising with anger and frustration):
"Protect? Or control? You cannot… you cannot take what is not yours!"
Mansukh (cutting in, firm):
"Tulsi! Enough of this! Your duty… your child… our family… you have no choice. This marriage is necessary!"
Savita (softly, eyes pleading):
"Tulsi… I know your heart is shattered. But think of your unborn son. Think of Gautam’s future."
Tulsi (clenching her fists, whispering to herself):
"Duty? Legacy? My heart… my love… must I betray him to survive?"
Rain falls harder outside, mirroring Tulsi’s inner storm. The room is silent except for her sobs, the unspoken grief, and the tension that promises a turbulent journey ahead. All the while, a tiny spark of hope lingers — Mihir might not truly be gone…
