Aishwarya was gorgeous & perfect as Paro & she is trained dancer too. Kareena doesn't have that grace.

i would have loved to see bhansali take this as a challenge, moulded this not so graceful actress kareena and come as a winner. but yes, kareena not being a trained dancer doesn't help. i always felt that actresses who are trained dancers do have wee bit of upper hand when it comes to bhansali movies, especially those naach gaana movies.. kareena is so lazy, she was so passionate about bollywood movies, why the hell she made an effort to learn a bit of dancing. see how dips is going to fit in as mastani.

Devadas cast was just perfect with its characterization...
Nobody could have done Paro better than Ashand Chandramukhi better than Madz...
Kahe ched mohe was performed exceptionally well by Madhuri...
Sush would have ruined it...

I can't stand Madhuri. But I must admit, Madhuri & her dance number choreographed by Pt. Birju Maharaj were the only good things of that crapfest Devdas.

Madhuri did say somewhere that she was being considered as Paro, but because of her similarities in looks with Suchitra Sen, she said comparisons would be made. So She played Chandramukhi.
She got married when filming Devdas, I dont think she was pregnant.
