Ok I think the reason they have shown her extreme is probably when Paro goes through her redemption track Yes female leads have to be subject for a good part of the soap unlike Male leads who get a 8 second apology and comes out clean like a Clorox White garment and all is well in the world of love stories for he actually was sorry for that time bas enough lets not put him through more torture poor baby sob those 8 seconds were like 8 leap years our hearts can only take this much pain before collapsing over his anguish ok digressing she may just decide that Laila and him were soul mates and she was the sole mate ergo she will go out of her way to unite them much to Rudras horror and Lailas delight Remember Paro is a people pleaser

simple look to IF for reasons ..the first time Laia rudra scenes were shown ...after the show was promoted as a Parud one ...how many I hate laila ...Laila the witch ...laila die posts resulted ...

I see a future of Paro trying to make an honest woman of Laila and then Laila gracefully if pathetically giving her green flag for a PaRud (and redeeming her self on IF among other things)...

Lailas sad past ...(mom leaving dad leaving both dying ) we most probs will not be shown ...nor will there be supporting sympathizing "literature"

her dire position of losing everything she had lived for ...even if she may be losing it because of her own harried reactions ...but then again she is not the lead (esp male) so there again no support ...

so Laila is here but to promote Parud and that she will do

Did you see how she rubbed haldi all over Paro ..(unlike the normal practice of cheek and hand with a feather like leaf)...so Rudy could proceed to be concerned and wash her down all over ...lead to universal *sigh* of oh how beautiful how emotional etc etc ...

Tumne mujhe Paro Devdas aur Chandramukhi ki yaad dila di, behen. Mere ankhoo me asoo aa gaye. 😭😭 Paro sanctified Chandramukhi and Devdas' relationship. But in this modern retelling, Chandramukhi, aka Laila sanctifies the relationship between Rudra and Paro.

Laila MUST redeem herself in front of the IF crowd. Yeh IF wale usse jeene nahin denge aur CVs usse marne nahin denge (though that might be the best in the given circumstances ) 😆

Yeah... well. It is necessary to switch off logic while watching, actually. Because you see, when Rudra becomes emotional before Paro after knowing her a total of 2 weeks (definitely not 8), then it's- awww, so cute, so vulnerable, so perfect! If he does that with Laila, whom he's been going to for years- Rudra is going soft, sis, not my type.

I don't think they make shows (or movies) for the practical crowd, who favour heads before hearts. Without the melodrama, people would complain- but nothing's happening in the show!

So, yeah. We're not really the target audience. #DealWithIt

I agree with almost everything except the part of not wanting to hurt the female lead, that was her intention when she tampered with the bowl of body scrub.
