Arjun looks like he just came out of the book...but Alia is a miscast ,she looks & acts like a spoilt diva !!! Ananya was an independent girl yet there was a certain innocence in her character which Alia totally lacks...and going by the novel, this movie should have a rustic look but again Dharma has made it glitzy & glossy which ruins the whole feel.

really liked arjuns acting in ishaqzaade and aurangzeb, (haven't seen gunday yet), but this looks slightly boringish.

but really happy that the young actors are doing good movies.

Chetan isn't known for his fantastic vocabulary either. It's his characters and mostly the fact that his writing is pretty relatable. Like the one liner that Arjun delivers when he meets Alia's dad is from the book. It's not very often that you can LOL while reading a book.
