songs look catchy so looking forward to that...this is actually one of my fav Chetan bhagat's novel..so hoping that the movie is decent at least!

Can't believe how bad that was. The book was so entertaining, I thought they had a winner when I heard they were making it into a movie. But this? Bad, just bad.

The only part which made me chuckle a bit was that 90% dialogue between Amrita and Revathy.

Not too impressed by Arjun. Neither acting nor looks. Alia looks and speaks nothing like a typical South Indian. They should have cast Deepika or Asin and some charming north Indian actor.

its ok. not digging arjun at all. lazy he is. another abhishek in making.

LOL! I'm just the opposite. Chetan Bhagat's books make me gag and retch. Utterly lackluster juvenile writing. I've seen thirteen year old Twihards write more exquisite fan fiction, and mind you there's nothing I loathe more than sparkling vampires. The only thing that makes his stories tolerable for me is the movies.

But usually yes, if you're a fan of the book, its hard to find a movie that can do justice. I can see why it may fall short.

I do know he's no great shakes as a writer nor a man booker prize level author. But when you're reading his books you feel like you're watching a masala Bollywood movie.. So I do read his books when I'm in the mood for some light reading. Nice timepass.

They have made point to point adaptation of Book which is Good thing I suppose...barring Chetan's mediocre English the book was real Fun . 5 Point someone and 2 States are infact Chetan's best ones...ahh my Engineering started with 5 point someone and ended with 2 States...sighh my engineering days..!!!.

Yeah. His stories are nice. He does touch important issues too. Very breezy reads. Get done in an afternoon. But I do wish for a grown man his writing skills improved.
