Wow...that's intense!
Wierd that an entertainment medium can cause this much stress!
Must be some twisted minds for sure whose opinions shouldn't count!

Its stereotypical, NB. Laila can prance around in bikini and the moral police would not utter a word.

Sunara, I agree with you about the the fact that it is the way they dress. I'm sure this bunch would be scandalized if they saw a typical dress of a rural woman in Rajasthan/Gujrat. Its nothing on the back but four strings- two on top and two at the bottom.

not just in India, even in my country this is extreme traditional wear

i as a little girl used to wear this for new year festivals.. but lol i wouldn't be caught dead in one now that i am grown up.. but still our village old ladies wear this day in and out even till date!
n its the same for Rajasthani girls to have an exposed midriff n a barely there dupatta to cover..

n thus the only issue here was San wore it -_-

Well according me we should not pinpoint or discuss about anybody's clothing, style, physic,so wheather it is paro style or laila style. They are the actors at the end of the day and they do what the script demand's them to do.So guys relax😳.

^^^ Are you from Sri Lanka, Sunara?

I remember old aunties wear those typical Malayalee dresses... without a pallu.

At the end of the day, I guess it was more about the actor, and not the character. I am seriously disgusted at the kind of language used for her. Not that I do not expect educated women at IF to have such views. Have read similar and worse.
