I totally agree dear

but it all lies in the nature & value that u are brought be it in India or any other country

Once a man stop objectifying a women this all will stop right there that is my thought so we should all change our mindset be it in dowry, assaults or any other matter. In this male dominated society this is the biggest truth that none of them are ready to change their mindset.

Reasonable write up with good points but some issues not addressed:

E.g

-Rapists are a MINORITY of men, their problem needs addressing one should not generalise too much and paint it as a 'male indian' issue, Its more complicated.

-Every country in the world has rape and child rape cases constantly, your USA is no exception. nowhere has solved the issue well

-you say patriarchal systems are the worst culprit, what about the effect of weak ineffective policing/justice systems in India and my top reason: The effect of po*nography especially on computers/online and also 'sexing up' seen in Tv and films trying to look cool/modernised.
