She left me speechless in HIGHWAY!

WOW WOW WOW!

she was so darn good!

she definitely deserves the praise coming her way but lets not exaggerate and compare her with the legends- she wasn't THAT good even but yeah she was pretty pretty good considering her contemporaries!

also hooda was equally brilliant- sad that industry people didn't praise him the same way- he deserves that!

pack your bags Katrina, Deepika and Priyanka! Alia has arrived to eat you all!

P.S: I didn't include kareena as she is already sitting at home!

I think that's what general perception has been after watching Highway and compared her to SOTY, people who saw her in both movies thought she has come a long way as compared to actress like Kat, Kareen or Deepika who didn't show much of the improvement in their second or third movies..

But all the repulsion for Alia also is due to the idiotic comparison to the legends by both Javed Akthar and wifey

Also people dislike her for being an industry kid and lot of people assume that she is a snob off screen.

I don't like her off screen

she does appear a bit snobbish

but onscreen she is definitely someone to watch out for!

I like her performance in Highway, but to be frank it was good not superb.

But more than Alia,Randeep Hooda's performance made me speechless. I never liked his acting in the other movies.

I will not agree that Alia excelled in every scene.

Watched SOTY, and hated practically everything about the film. I remember when Highway's trailer released, I wasn't interested in it but a friend coerced me to watch it and my mind was blown. Alia'd impressed me! Same goes for Sid, watched him in HTP and loved him. Happened to watch the climax of Highway last night and LOVED Alia in it. And then, I watched the trailer of 2 States today [like 10 times?] and loved Alia all over again! She's such a good actress! I wonder why did Sid and Alia debut with SOTY? Anywho, I've really liked them in the recent outings and I am excited for their future flicks!
