Why ? When Older episodes are magical ??

I used to be such a CID show lover when I was very young.

Now the show is ok but has lost the intelligence element which it used to have. (No offense, just my opinion) ... Some scenes irk me like Freddy always talking about atma is weird.

They seems to air CID almost half a day but why none of the older episodes (90's and early 2000's) aired?

I watched a few old episodes in youtube and they were amazing. Why don't they air a few old episodes?

I don't blame the writers. I have watched many crime series. All lose their magical touch after a few seasons.

But the Reruns could be of older episodes too nah? I miss them so much ...

What do you guys think about the older episodes? do you watch them often?

I hope my post doesn't break any rules of this forum .

There was a time in 2010 when they were showing pre 2004 episodes. At that time the trp of re runs became higher than the weekend cid trp.(Not surprising) This probably hurt the egos of FW and Sony and hence they stopped.

And yeah ..I love old episodes and make time to watch a couple of them every weekend. 😊

I got recording feature on my tv just recently

My data plan doesn't allow me to watch a lot of videos

I actually started to watch the show after watching reruns of old episodes ...and ya CV's just don't have any new idea .
Freedy should be given some respect ...he is senior officer and always shown as coward.

In earlier episodes neither ACP nor Freddy were like this. It is weird to see them have a U turn in their personalities.

ACP used to be calm and composed ... Freddy was a sincere officer too
