...I'd like to say I don't think Rudra has taken any steps forward (conscious or unconscious) with regards to Paro.
After watching today's episode and reading the various posts made on this forum, I see that many seem to think Rudra has finally made some progress and is seen having a gentle side. Advocates of this line of reasoning have pointed to him bandaging her wound, bringing her food, feeding her, and even staring at her while she stared at the clock.
However, wouldn't someone who was completely cold hearted and had the single goal of using any means possible to catch the terrorists be doing this too? Paro is literally the only lead he has to solving this case(if we can even call her a lead). Threatening her, yelling at her, and starving her have literally gotten him no where. On top of that, his commanding officer has told him countless times that he should try using some honey to catch flies. Although he did not initially do that, I think his actions in the last two episodes are only to set that plan in motion. He is only buttering her up so he can go for the kill after. I don't think he has had a change of heart at all, not even in the slightest bit, not even subconsciously.
I think Rudra still has a far way to go before we see even an iota of change in him. In order for any change to happen, I think he first needs to realize Paro is actually innocent and doesn't know anything. Once he has at least accepted her innocence, then it would make sense for these types of scenes to be used as evidence of his change of heart. Until then, I think it is only our shaatir BSD officer's dimaag which is at work.
Sorry, I think we're going to have to wait a long time before we see even the inkling of change.

MAYBE IN TODAY'S EPISODE HE WAS ALL BUTTERING UP PARO TO COLLECT EVIDENCE AGAINST THAKUR.BUT IN THE HOSPITAL SCENE AFTER THE ATTACK EVENTHOUGH THERE WERE OFFICERS ONGUARD HE CAME AND SAT NEAR HER THE WHOLE NIGHT .WHEN HE SAW SHE WAS IN PAIN HE ASKED AMAN TO SHIFT HIM TO SOMEOTHER WARD .I DON'T THINK ANY BSD OFFICER WOULD GO TO THIS EXTENT TO SAVE HIS SUSPECT AND TAKE CARE OF HER.AND THAT ONE DIALOG IS MORE THAN ENOUGH WHEN HE SAYS"NOBODY ELSE OTHER THAN HIM IN THIS WORLD WANTS HER ALIVE NOT EVEN HERSELF " THIS DIALOG SAYS EVERYTHING 😲
On the contrary, I think any officer who wanted to solve his case would do just that. He would most definitely, personally sit vigil for his sole witness especially after she has been attacked and his doubts that her life is in danger have been proven true. Once you know for sure your key witnesses life is in danger, and that too has been attacked by a fellow BSD officer, why would you trust her safety to anyone else?
As far as him comforting her while she was having a nightmare, I think at first he just thought something was wrong with her and he was worried for her safety. Then when he realized it was a nightmare, I think he saw a little bit of himself in her. He too is haunted by his past, and although we don't know if he has nightmares, he was clearly able to see that Paro too is haunted by a past. And finally, I think he lingered for a moment he was drawn to her beauty, but that too, only physical beauty...nothing more.
When he told Aman to move him to another ward, that too made sense TACTICALLY. Why would you continue causing distress to your key witness further slowing her recovery? I don't think that was a heartfelt decision, but rather a decision of efficiency.
Lastly, that dialogue about him being the only one who cares to keep her alive, as much as I loved it, it still in no way shows that he cares. Think about it, why would he claim to care about her life more than her own self? Its not like she is particularly suicidal. So why would a stranger care about someones life more than that own person? He also doesn't love her yet, so it can't be that. Then would him marginally having feelings for her be enough for him to claim he cares about her life more than her? No! He says that ONLY bc he is fixated on solving this case. He is obviously a dedicated, almost an obsessive officer-the fact that he is a major at such a young age proves that. He does not even slightly have feelings for her, but is just passionate to a level of obsession about doing his job.
Still don't think these are strong enough pieces of evidence in proving his change of heart ::shrug::
