Will Othello's Tragedy...be Rudra's Tragedy?

I personally haven't read Othello or watched it before ( as my studies were mostly round Romeo and Juliet and Midsummer's night dream), so I asked my friends to tell me the brief story of Othello for which I automatically clicked with Rudra and his anger and upbringing.
Though Rudra and Othello are very different, but the CV's can easily make them relate. The tragedy of Othello was that even though he was a righteous militant man, he became manipulated against his loyal and enduring wife Desdemona. A misunderstanding incident happens that makes him think that she's cheating on him. He then with jealousy and blinding anger kills Desdemona only to find out after that she didn't cheat on him at all. Othello kills himself in the end.

Relating to RR, with Rudra's upbringing of hating beautiful women becuase they are betrayers and deceiving, can a point come after Rudra falls for Paro, that a misunderstanding happens that makes him remember his father's words? Can be possible.

Will Rudra's jealousy and rage blind him from the truth? Possibly.

Can Rudra kill Paro in anger of misunderstood deceit? Would Rudra kill himself after if he had found out like Othello his grave unforgivable mistake?...I think *cough HOPE cough* not... but if the CV wanted?

I'm not saying at all this should happen, but the way the CV's are aligning RR so intensely with Othello...anything is possible.

From what I gather the cv's of this show can do anything so I wil remain quiet scared in that department. Who knows what if rudra does mis judge paro, that would be so sad!

That will be a major risk but we never know, the CVs might just do it

Hmm...I think CVs have based the Rudra's character on Othelo...so they can reinvent the story in some way...It looks like Rangrasia started after Othelo mistrusts his wife...as in Rudra doesn't trust Paro...n though he didn't kill her he came pretty close...Now we will embark on the journey of self recovery...Paro has been given a chance to prove herself and when she does ...Rudra will realize his mistakes and repent for his sins...(* atleast I hope he does...)...

So for me this is a continuation of Othelo and not a copy of it...But, Rudra being Othelo means that he has a lot of layers and vulnerabilities along with strengths...so we are definitely in for an entertaining journey...😳

You're right RR is a reinvention of Othello so it probably won't be exactly the same story line as Othello itself. *Hope flag raised up* Rudra does have many different aspect that make his character interesting, so it's 100% true that the future of RR is something audiences should look forward to.

Hello,
I would like to take on 2 quotes from Rudra said in 2 different epis which I hope CVs use and invest to "recreate" Othello and then ofcourse "resurrect" him! (As I truly do believe desi TVs do not really want to leave the audience on a sad note)
24th January Epi:
Rudra - "Darti haina mujhse, nafrat karti haina, mujhe dekh seene mein aag lagti hain. Yeh darr, yeh nafrat yeh aag bahut jaroori he ...kyunki yahi tujhe muijhse alag nahi hone degi aur yehi tujhe zinda bhi rakhegi"
Foreshadow (my POV) - As long as Paro has this fire of hate and fear against Rudra ...she will be ok...the day love for Rudra will engulf her...She will be destroyed.
27th January epi:
Paro - "Meri zindagi par tumhara zor chal sakta hai lekin meri maut par nahi"
Rudra - "Kuch minto pehle uss dhamake mein, maine tumhari maut par bhi kabza karliya"
Foreshadow (my POV) - Paro may come to her very last breath of life due to Rudra, but she will not be able to die until Rudra releases her from the bond of his love for her!

From what I read, the character of Rudra has been inspired from Othello, his deep insecurities, possesiveness, extreme feelings of hate and love. Maybe even a few plotlines maybe inspired from the play but I doubt if the story will have the same ending. The writers and creatives will take a call depending on feedback and TRPs by then.

Very important quote this is yes. The lines seem to be very meaningful indeed so hopefully your right that the CV's will keep to their wonderfully written lines. It makes me curious to think what will happen when PaRud will fall for eachother. Pain and angst seems like a evident theme of the future along with longing and desire.
27th January epi:
Paro - "Meri zindagi par tumhara zor chal sakta hai lekin meri maut par nahi"
Rudra - "Kuch minto pehle uss dhamake mein, maine tumhari maut par bhi kabza karliya"

Interesting how you have taken this quote! Especially when it seems Rudra doesn't like the sound of Paro and death in the same context. Rudra says it's becuase she's his witness, but feels like more between the lines. It's very poetic how you say she won't be able to die til Rudra releases her from his bond of love. Really do hope CV's continue to carry out such thought-provoking scripts that make us go hmmm.😳

You are probably right that the ending may not be exactly the same but I guess CV's can take this in a different way if they wanted. We fangirls extremely love Parud together only be it in anger/love, but apart?? CV's should remind themselves that we are here😆
