Zaya Drabble: Honeymoon Days- Day 2(C)
They both took the warm lunch that Aliya had cooked and snuggled into bed. Their fights had suddenly reduced since Aliya didn't have many witty replies to give. Zain, feeling bored, asked her, "Aren't you getting bored? Do you want to go somewhere? According to some list I read, there's apparently a botanical garden somewhere close. I've already informed the driver. If you want, you can come with me, otherwise, you can watch TV."
"I think I'll stick to the TV. It's very cold and I don't know whether I'll be able to stand the cold outside." Aliya told him, hoping he'd stay.
"Okay, so what do you want to watch? Anything special?" Zain asked her, in no mood to go alone now. He might as well watch something with her.
They both washed their hands after eating the delicious food and so started The Big Bang Theory marathon. Zain found that he liked it because it wasn't sappy and was very funny. Aliya liked it because it was the only show available on TV right now and it was pretty good. They laughed at Sheldon's unaware talks, admired his intellect, wondered about Raj's selective way of being mute, laughed again at Penny's reactions to Sheldon and much more. They especially laughed at Sheldon's "*knock, knock, knock* Penny *knock, knock, knock* Penny *knock, knock, knock* Penny." They also discussed how Sheldon and Penny looked so good together and so do Raj and Howard.
Zain, suddenly faced with silence turned to see Aliya sleeping peacefully next to him. He pulled the covers over her and tucked her and himself in. His hands unknowingly wrapped itself over her and they slept peacefully. In each other's arms.
Very bad update.
I know.
