Barsine hates everything about India & so does Darius.
She would even end up falling for Puru but Puru will end up with Lacchi. Frustrated Barsine won't take this insult easily.
And then as history goes on Barsine or Stateira II will be Alexander's second wife after Alexander captures Persia & Darius flees the battle ground. Barsine, her mother & sister are captured by Alexander & treated with respect. Darius tries to cement relations with Alexander by marrying off Barsine to Alexander & thus end the war by deliberately giving up title of king of Persia.
And in the battle of Puru-Alexander, she would even help out Alexander to ensure Puru is defeated for her own revenge.
Roxanne, Alexander's first wife was like Olympia, ambitious & cruel, according to history.
Barsine & Alexander remain married only for a few months. Alexander heads back to to his kingdom after he has won the Battle of Hydaspes, but dies in the journey itself in Babylon.
And Barsine is brutally murdered right after Alexander is dead by Roxanne because she didn't want any possible contestants for the throne who might be pregnant with Alexander's child.
Since this a historical show with a lot of fictional elements, so they are definitely going to show Barsine grow fond of Puru & even desirable to marry him. And as usual she will be rejected. Seeing her temper, I am pretty sure, she will be used in the decisive battle so justify a fictional point. Even though there are no accounts of returning to India ever, but CVs are definitely going to go that route because Barsine happens to be an important character as well right now.
But I feel bad for her. All she pays is the price of being a King's daughter. And somewhere Darius deserves it as well because he dies after Barsine is dead. So, he will know of his beloved's daughter's death.
