Was Roxanne so cruel? I didn't know and felt that she was like normal queens of that era, one who wants to get everything for herself. She killed Staretite for sure, but it was more to hold her position than anything else.
Anyhow even if she was this cruel, I am sure the CVs would show her very good in this show, just for the reason that I am 99% sure they would bring the Rakhi angle for Roxanne and Puru, so I guess whatever wrongs Roxanne did in reality (considering that she was as bad as you suggested), would be done by Staretite in this show,About punishment, I think both Darius and Staretite will get punishment by Puru's hone waala dost Alexander
Sadly this was the way of life then. What appears cruel to us was just a matter of dire necessity for her.Who knows if Roxanne had not taken this step maybe Barsine would have taken it first? Either way only one queen and her kid could have survived.Originally posted by: pritirays
I don't think Roxanna was cruel - she was put in a tight spot by Alexander's death - she was pregnant carrying his child when Alex's death news came. His generals wanted to put someone else on throne but thankfully she had a boy, so the heir issue was solved. However the news that Barsine maybe pregnant put her and her son's life and claim to throne in danger, hence she took the step. It was common then among royals.
