She committed quite a few mistakes....

1st she never for one minute took the slightest bit of interest in yash's mom, never spoke to her, never interacted with her, just kinda thought that of yash ko pata liya, to mom will have to accept....so she was the one who ignore yash's mom, not vice-versa...

2. When faced with opposition, she lost all self-control and even basic decency while speaking to elders, and hence the total and complete rejection from yash later on.....there are many many girls who face disapproval and even some dislike from their prospective in-laws, everyday in this world, how many them treat them like dirt, and insult them in front of everyone like this?????? how many girls, scream and yell, like a mad woman?????? The other day the girls were told how relations are delicate like glass bangles, and have to be handled with care, is this the way we care for them???? just like gur, pri to is facing rejection and opposition from raj's family, has she stooped to the level of gurpreet??? Gurpreet doesn't understand a simple thing, shich is you can more flies with honey, then with vinegar....how on earth did she expect, everything she did, all the things she said, to be forgotten, and for her to be welcomed with open arms back into yash's family???

3, Her sucking up to yash mom after the fact, had she even done 10% of what she was trying later on with yash and his mom, before her stage blow-up, she might have gotten the result she wanted...but "ab pachtaye hot kya jab chidiya chug gayi khet". Her age is always given as an excuse for her behaviour, sure she's young, but not a child, she's old to think that she can get married....she is old enough to make her point, loudly on a stage, she is old enough, to speak what she pleases to a woman more than twice her age....then why only suddenly she becomes young, when it comes to behaving appropriately????? I ahve some teenage cousins who are 10 times more matured and well-mannered than her.....i hope she has taken away from all this, that using ur tongue like a sword will only hurt and injure people around you...

I have seen it one too many times on this forum that people say yash is spineless, he couldn't stand up for her.....one thing.."maybe he didn't want to, maybe he thought she was wrong, no-one would stand up for something they think is wrong".........

He never LOVED her, he only LIKED her barely, was just getting to know her, LOVE is a deep, deep emotion, and it takes time to get to that level......I had many guys interested in me in my college days, atleast 3-4 who were quite seriously persuing me, i even LIKED a couple of them, but that was it, i only liked them, if at that point, my parents would have said that they didnt approve of any or all them, there was no way i would have gone against their wishes, for someone i merely liked, i then found my hubby, who i LOVED, my soulmate, and would have gone to any extent to be with him,we were both prepared to try and persuade our families, if need be and even wait patiently for their approval, thankfully we never faced any opposition, but had we gotten that, rudeness, and disrespect is not the route we would have chosen.....today we have a one year old, and i can only hope to teach my lil baby the values my parents taught me, that treat your in-laws with the same repect you do ur parents, and even if you disagree with them , or feel disrespected in some way, find an apropriate way to voice urself, one in which their dignity is not compromised.....and to think that my hubby is kinda like yash, and mil kinda like yash's mom, and yet somehow, surprisingly, i am very very happiliy married for the last 8 years of my life....touchwood....😳😳

Phewwww that was a longgg post...but most likely one my last on this topic...i wihs yash the best in life, he is a great guy, and a great catch for any girl.....he will make some lucky girl, very happy someday....wish him the best in life....😃

all i will say is that saying ki " main aap ko apni bahu ke roop me nahi dekhti" is in no way an insult"......it's the truth...she felt that and she said it....even hitmom said that abt vrinda....

i never saw one occasion where gurpreet was disrespected or treated in a poor manner by yash's mom, but what gurpreet did on the other hand, was wayyyy off the charts bad, and a total and complete disrespect of yash's mom, and disregard for her dignity, even if u disagree with someone, anyone for that matter, and moreso, the mother of the guy you hope to marry, then u shuold atleast put ur points across, in a way that maintain's their dignity....and gurpreet completely failed to do that...

Also, i do feel, that yash's mom certainly could have handled the situation a lil better, with some more tact, and till the epi where gurpreet blewup on stage, i actually felt bad for gurpreet, but after the way gurpreet handled the situation, it was soo soo bad, that it completely overshadowed any of the wrong that yash's mom did....two wrong's don't make a right....and what gurpreet did, was not appropriate response to what yash's mom did....it was a bigger wrong than yash's mom🤢

a mother has full right to voice her opinion abt who she would like her son to marry, yash is great guy, many girl's and their families might approach them for marraige, so if they don't accept someone's proposal that's insulting them?????😲, if so, my cousin has been rejected by some guys before she got married, and she rejected some guys as well....so they were all insulting each other????😲😲..wow so everyone should just marry with the first person that comes their way i guess😉

In the end, i would say only say that, let's just agree to disagree....i don't completely dislike gurpreet, i do like some things about, but some aspects of her personality are just too much for me to handle, and i honestly do hope she has learnt some lessons from this experience, and wish her the best for her future....😃
