Pallavi my dear, the Cvs never showed at which stage Ovi and Arjun danced in the rain in CAnada, did they? If they did, I probably missed it. It might have been as innocent kids before teenage years - why will I then judge that there was more to it. In fact, I haven't said anything about Ovi/Arjun dance until you posted that was that possible for Ms, Prim and Proper to dance in the rain, to which many answered, why not. - this is speculative here, except the part that Arjun said they did dance in the rain - it might have been as kids. For they were actually running and jumping in the water in yesterday's episode - exactly as my kids does...

Well, as for Purvi, they did show the roop tera mastani thingy 😆 dear, she was wet with cloths that emplasized her curves, and it did get Arjun excited. Probably the same way he got excited seeing Ovi, his wife 😆 yesterday 😉. Only, difference here being, of course the mangla sutra😉. So, you see, the similarities and the differences😆, btw, there isn't anything here about adoption. Infact, I never expected Purvi to have premarital sex and I have said so myself countless times here😆, for this single acts goes against her middle class sanskaari upbringing esp. being raised by Archana, but obviously Cvs thought otherwise😆

Love and commitment were both present when Purvi and Arjun did the deed, there was love between them and they were both committed to each other at that point in time, rain or no rain to incite poor mortal Arjun. So I will not play the moral judge here, suffice it to say both girls were human as was the guy. If one pair was wrong, the other was wrong as well. If we can excuse one and put it down to human frailty and that much celebrated emotion, love, the other can be similarly excused.

And Re: Rain debate, I am a responsible Mom and wouldnt want my kids to get sick from getting wet in the Northeast rain...that would result in a sick and cranky kid, doctor visits, problems with medicating a cranky kid, sleepless nights, missed school and homework, classwork which take weeks to catch up with! Im sure most Moms would agree with me, better be safe than sorry, Prevention is better than Cure! 😃

And I have walked here in the rain before, when I didnt drive and its damned unpleasant, cold, damp and not warm at all, not even in summertime!

The last para is spot on, at least for Ottawa and Toronto and northeastern Canada, though not for other parts - I noted that possible discrepancy too as I was the High Commissioner of India to Canada 6 years back But then one cannot expect the CVs to check up all that, when they do not even seem to know about the Medical Council of India has the sole jurisdiction over disciplinary action to be taken against errant medical practitioners. Their maxim is a simple one - want a love scene, you need rain.

Big Blooper regarding Ovi reminiscing abt rain in childhood.

Arjun and Ovi both grew up in Canada. In Canada or Northern US, rain is cold and unpleasantly chilly, nobody ever wants to get wet or dance in the rain like in India. So all that abt Ovi getting wet in the rain as a kid and Arjun studying is all nonsense...also Ovi isnt the type to get wet in the rain, shes too prim and proper and would worry abt her hairstyle and clothes.
