great post dear.. that was always in my mind.. she was in a situation where if she married arjun then she would be called selfish as she didnot care about her sis life (as we know ovi was going to commit suicide when purvi called her).. if purvi married arjun then ovi will die and all the relations would be more complicated and would be parted.. now as she left arjun she hurted him and is called selfish for her aai's sake..

Very nice thread . Ovi may very well have committed suicide if Purvi had married Arjun. Can you imagine the guilt and turmoil? Like Archu before her Purvi is damned if she does damned if she doesn't.

I think however it's unfair to say that Archana didn't care where or how she was when she left. The CV's didn't do a good job of showing it, but when they did write it in, Archana always said she had been searching and searching.

Purvi and Onir's decision not to tell Arjun is correct. I don't think that Purvi knew she was pregnant when she left Mumbai. When she found out, Arjun was already married and having problems with Ovi. Telling him would create even more problems. Purvi marrying Onir was the practical thing to do. Society would not have accepted an unwed mother and the child would have been put through humiliation. Onir's decision to marry Purvi and thereby give the child a father and a father's name is good for both Purvi and the baby. Now that they will raise the child as parents there is no need for them to tell anyone. Telling Arjun will place him in another dilemma: Stay with crazy Ovi who is bearing his child or go to Purvi who is also bearing his child. By not telling him they spare him from having to make this choice. Knowing Arjun, he will be unable to make a choice and just vacillate in misery resulting in further misery all round.

if purvi say about her pregnancy to arjun then what can do arjun ? whats the point of this truth ? arjuns wife pregnant with his child then he cant leave her , will arjun able to accept that big mistake ?according to purvi , we can assume that he will accept but then what ?/ will he marry purvi ? will he take 2 wife at the same time ? will he able to reveal this truth who couldnt even reveal his relation with purvi , who insulted purvi at ovi and his engagement party ? will this baby able to digest his or hers biological fathers name ? will society leave that child easily ? will that child able to raise without mother ? is everyone want another sohom ?

Woh Linda, so many questions!!! You're right, not elling is the best decision. We know that Arjun will not be able to do anything. He ahs always not been able to take decisions when it came to his personal life. It is best that he not be placed in confusion any more.

Someone else made these decisions for him and took his rights away and put him in such a spot that now not telling becomes the only option and perhaps the best decision .
