I had said in another thread the same as u ..That Dr. Onir is too good to be true ! There are probably exceptions like him in real life, but never in reel life, especially in a TV soap, be it BT or any other. We have not seen anything of him yet. His past, which even Purvi doesn't seem to know about, why he married Purvi, how much he knows about her past, and what he is going to do once he knows it is Arjun's child. He probably knows that it is not his child, well, he better, as he is the "expert" gynaecologist, if he didn't, well, his expertise is in question, isn't it 😊..
the main reason, everyone is lauding Onir, is for a couple of reasons. for some, who wish well for Purvi, he is the best man for Purvi, as he seems very loving and concerned for her, and they want her to be happy away from the D-family..But, for some, on the other side, they want him to be with Purvi, so she is away from Arjun for good, and Ovi Maam can be happy free of her paranoia of Arjun's love for Purvi..We know how that will go, anyway...
so, I am not pro or anti Onir for now..But, I am not going ga-ga over him either. In Fact, I have a lot of reservations about him...He made quite a few enigmatic statements so far. Why does he want to treat Ovi so adamantly despite her resistance. Which doctor does that? Let us see how he fares when the going gets tough !! As u said, he hasn't faced the lunatic D-family and their histronics yet... bade badon ki chutti hogayi unko jhelthe..
In all this, what is Arjun's fate?..Who is thinking of him and his lack of knowledge of his child with Purvi. Doesn't he have a right to know about his child? Forget Purvi, doesn't the child have a right to know his/her father? As far as why I want Arjun Purvi to get back together, you have my reasons for it ..I have said it all before, so not repeating it...
