Is it RIGHT decision for Puni to get married?

so manju and vinod want puni to get married asap because they think that will solve the problem and bring her in the right way...personally i dont think that is going to solve anything...in fact that will just ruin the life of that innocent guy and their family...Puni does not feel like what she did is wrong...she still wants money and status but does not want to work hard for it...even if she does get married to a guy who has decent salary she will not be happy...she wont be able to get her designer clothes, shoes, bags and jewelery...if the guy is not able to get all that for her she will definitely go cheat on him with a richer guy...I dont agree with the fact that a girl like puni should get married and she will become better...she wont...i dont even know what the solution for her would be..i just know marriage is not an option or atleast marriage with a young decent guy is not....

Note: please guys lets stick to the topic and not get carried away and attack other members...also this thread is about what the best solution for a girl like puni would be..so lets not bring manav, archu, purvi, manju, savita or anybody else...lets just focus on puni....

I agree with that Punni should not get married just yet. However, I think she needs some sort of counselling, to see what can be done. with her. Maybe her parents can also sit her down and try to listen to her views and make her really understand that her lifestyle is not good for her future, and how she can be totally ruined if she continues.

Then try to get her involved with more activities to further her life, and see what happens over time. If she shows a better outlook, then they can get her married to a good boy. Bad girls can be rehabilitated too, and as Hope said, change for Punni must also come from within.

I agree i think she needs to understand that in order to have a great lifestyle she needs to work really hard...she cannot depend on somebody else...yes she might get married to an old guy just for sake of money but after a point those materialistic things wont matter...she would never experience love of that person...or be respected

I think she needs mentorship. unfortunately there is only one person I can think of who could mentor her and she might actually accept his mentorship because she adored him as a child. Manav. I say this because he is practical and sensitive. he is not usually judgemental of other's wrong actions. remember how nice he was to varsha when she strayed the first time? unfortunately he is alienated from the k family and out of India for now.

usually when children go wayward it is a sign that they are frustrated about something in their own life and act rebelliosly. punni was not like this as a child so this is something that has happened in her developmental years. a mentor might be able to help her battle her inner demons and guide her for the future.

i totally agree with you...manav is not judgmental...i mean he was so cool about his daughter being in love with arjun...he has given them the freedom to make their choices...but i dont think puni is this way because she is frustrated with something...because it is not like she stopped school and is drinking or anything...her motive is very clear...she wants a rich life and high status...and she does not want to work hard for it all...she needs soemone to make her realize her mistake and understand that when you want something in life you have to work hard for it yourself and that is the only way you will enjoy it the most and feel proud of yourself...

i agree...getting her married like this is cheating the guy and will ruin his life because at this point it is unlikely punni will change anytime soon...
