Maybe I hav great parents thats y I cant see parents hating or going against their kids out of hate or love for someone/something else (some parents go against to teach their kids a lesson)

Some parents lose their objectivity when it comes to their survival...They just shift from sibling to sibling as they fit...Everyone is selfish including parents or children...That is a human characteristic...Fact of life...We must accept..Bhagwad Gita teaches u that...Family is the first ones to hurt you...Try to live above that to become stronger person...
People who have their loving-supportive parents for a long time are lucky and previledged ones...Count your blessings....
Only one u can count in life is God, your faith in him-her and yourself...NO ONE Else...😳

Sorry guys for editing my post
The moral of this life is
1. All kids boys or girls should be treated equally and fairly
2. Spoiling the boys rotten is only going to give you grief later in life
3. If the DIL is not deserving your love and care, seperate them so that the relationship is still maintainable.
4. If you have daughters, maintain a healthy relationship with her because in the end it is only the daughters who take care of you.
5. Never part from your money.....never before you die.
6. Always tell the kids that who ever will look after us will get the biggest share out of my money/property.
7. Be God fearing and be fair.

Tulsey I love your moral of the story and advice...Excellent points...
I will add
Never ever sell your home and move in with children for good.....Go stay for a while but you must have your own home in your name....If u have become handicap and old age move into one of those homes over moving in with children...Save up for these type of unforseen expenses...
Dont give all your money or control over your money to children...No money or no home you might as well be dead IMHO...Everyone loves guests for few days not permenant pests as they say...I am being honest.....
It is enlightening to read everyone's experiences and we know we are not alone...Dysfunction exist in every family...
Most mothers excuse their son & Dils off responsibilities and holds daughters responsible for the same....But when it comes time to support the one who did the most for them they turn around and support their sons...Not sure why?

Your stories remind me of a saying,

"A son is a son till he gets his wife,
Daughter remains a daughter all her life."

Don't know whether its completely true or not, but in my cases I have seen it come true.

Niki I think Sons do love their parents but once they are married their priority is their immidiate family...And that is how it should be as long as he takes care of his duties...Men are not good at being most diplomatic people when it comes to relationship between parents and wifi...They dont know how to handle the situation where daughters are lil different..

Daughters no matter how far they live they always worry & care abt their parents and do anything for them...Sometimes that is also problemsome to their husbands when they are not doing the same for his parents...

Each case is individual and should be looked at case by case bases...We can't generalize but most cases it is true...

It is the Indian parents are so proud of the "Y Cromosome" mentality😳

Jut now went through some last few pages .
I am very moved to read all the stories , Sid, Varsha, Kool and Tulsey . I don't know what to say .....I am just numb reading these stories .
I guess what we look in these dramas and think that this is all fiction ...all this can happen in real life as well.
May God bless all of you and your families ..
We all have had our crosses to carry ...I hope God looks after all of us ..
Thanks to all who wrote to me as to what to do ..I have made a point to read eevry post at least 3 times and will do what ever has been told . Yes , most definitely I will change my doctor and will be more alert about myself and my health . For now I just wan tto get better and inshallah there is going to be a New Me ........
That's it .......This is all a lesson from God for being so negligent about myself ..Never again ...
