I basically post my views from the episode and move on....This show has made a mockery in last several months although it is improving...We dont need any hurt feelings amongst our PRians the best section of IF....

wow... ok I am thoroughly confused regarding the"rightness" or "wrongness" of the slap after reading everyone's posts...
But I do feel archana should not apologise to dharmesh or anyone .. because ..
1) After slapping her BIL in front of four families , a simple sorry isnt going to cut it anyway .. I mean the damage is already done ..
2) Archana , in her mind feels she hasnt done anything wrong .. so why apologise? It is just going to be lip service..
3) This boycott by her family should make it easier for her to make a decision .. that is seriously fight hard to get manav out ... I mean she has already gone out on a limb here ... it cant get any worse ..
Archana has risked everything for manav now .. she should now not cave in now and apologise .. because with an apology she would be expected to ditch manav .. and thats not possible now ...

Ok .. wanted to add something .. it is just my pov ..
I think what finally got her goat ( i.e archana slapping dharmesh..) was not him calling her rishta benaam ..
heck everyone has been tearing their PR into shreds from the past few days anyway ... right from her own family to her future sasural and the neighbours ...
She is kinda used to it now .. no more shock factor in that...
It is when dharmu accused manav of using her that she finally lost control and struck ..
At that point I could almost hear her thinking .. "You guys used me .. tricked me to frame manav and save yourself .. and now you are accusing manav of using me!!"

I have to write this. That too in open forum thread instead of a pm, to clarify the nature of my opposition and respect to you.

1. I disagree to your 'glorification' of ordinary characters like Shravni or Dharmesh and the methods employed thereon. I don't disagree to slam the leads, in fact would merrily join you on some points, but the tactics employed there, well from my point of view, are not consistent to a fair paradigm when in competition to earlier mentioned 'glorification/sympathy'.

2. I have a natural disadvantage of intake and resultant handicap in either a 'debate' or suggestions, nor do I care much for either. But I feel like protesting when the relentless dressing down goes beyond a taste for those two characters which were once our 'beau ideals'.

3. Having said all these, I care a hoot for them; IF the friendship, even a virtual one, were being caused even slight a fade in preference to a fictional tale (and such a stupid one at that). No ways Kools. As such, now onwards I will silence my protest (as it is, you know, not much frequent) to your methods (maybe I shouldn't have done in the first place) but not the disagreement.

4. From the day of your Sindoor Post and the discussion about Seven Life cycle, Ram Raksha Stotra or Lopamudra queries, I have developed a steady respect to the glimpses of a tip that you had chosen to bare; subsequently fortified with the knowledge of your exquisite sensibilities to the tenderness of Sharat C's characters.

5. I owe you a point in getting free from the awe of a mutual friend's scholastic brilliance, when you so effortlessly, and with a candid honesty, pointed out the phoniness of Jumpa Lahiri and their likes' writings; which I very much felt but was not able to pinpoint at that time.

6. But more over all these, I have found you always warm and caring. So only allow me to disagree sometimes. Nothing more.

I want to know y Archana didnt slap Shravani when she said u dont hav a pavitra rishta🤔 I think Dharmu got the slap for raising a finger on pavitra rishta😆
