Let me tell you my disappointment in this form of entertainment. I tell you when we are speaking of serial as commercial products in stead of high quality fiction, we may wonder, is it possible for a concurrence of both? But yes it is. And here I can not resist suggesting one serial which I have recently come across quite accidently on internet. The serial's telecast is recently over- in sharp contrast to our present soaps, this one has lasted barely 20 something episodes. But what a serial! If you feel Anand or Golmaal or Naykaan are high quality Hindi Cinema then you would surely love this sensitive serial where the resonant beauty of a tragic relationship, strength of character and purity of Female lead and fallibility and yet innocence of Male lead, every thing right from the beginning to the 'end', but excluding the 'end,' is simply marvelous. You have to watch it to believe how advanced the Pakistani soaps have become in terms of conception, quality of scripting, editing, acting and direction, for this is a Pakistan serial- called "meri zaat zarra e benishaan he." Kool, don't be distracted with Urdu name. Its entirely legible and even more beautiful for it. The genius castings, absolutely brilliant acting by all leads including gray ones, dialogues…everything about this serial is so well made that it has to be classed as classic. On you tube every episodes is available with name and episode no. and though streaming there is poor quality, I found every second spent on it as worth its while. Why don't you try just one episode? Even just to compare the difference?
