Totally agree. HS asked her if she would be happy having him around as just her mother's husband. She said she would survive but after a point it won't be enough. I want her to come to this realization herself and then haq se expect more, maybe even claim him as her father. I don't know.
She really needs space so that she can think about herself. She doesn't get the chance and what free time she has, she is now running around for the business.
She told him she needs him as a friend and a guide but the truth is that she still wants him to be her her hero, she still wants him as a father (figure), maybe even more than before but she has gotten into the habit of not asking for much from life and like HS, seems to have gone into compromise mode after the wedding.
Their situation is almost tragic but beautiful.
Half the time Minnie herself isn't convinced of what she says nowdays. Where is the girl gone who was so sure of herself? 🥺
When will she realise to live for herself and understand what SHE needs? Mickey touched upon it but one song dance sequence won't do anything. She needs to work upon this.
I swear if she confronts HS haq se about the father-daughter expectations or even blurts it out during an outburst, I'll be dancing in my room the entire night.
