@ bold exactly not only that she literally had to pull her mother out of the house. She was the one who first realised that babita -ashok relation is not what her mother showed to her. I remember how broken she was at the gurudwara thinking where they will go as pinku mama too dint want to keep them at their house. Was a girl that age supposed to be worrying like that instead of her mother . was she supposed to be taking initiatives instead of her mother - No . yet she took them. I dont think mini can reverse these years and these experiences and become a child to her parents now. she is 18 anyway. She needs to accept that she cannot keep controlling all situations but this is something headstrong people take a lifetime to learn.
And why did she have to go through that? one of the reason is babita was not financially independent. If she wants babita to concentrate on the business which they both have established its not wrong. Babes is right now full with HS love. but remember no one came to support them not even Babitas own brother and wife who is now teaching babes how sindoor is so important to a woman and she was incomplete without it.
During the Gurudwara scene was one of the few times she cried for herself. The next time we had HS coax those tears out of her during the drug case against Ashok.
Next, it happened when she broke down under the pressure of being strong and not having the security of HS in her life.
All these times Ashnoor has made me feel so strongly for this character, it's amazing. 👏
But yeah, you're right. The headstrong nature won't go away so easily. I just want her to slowly understand to sometimes let things flow. To let life happen organically rather than force situations. She quite her mother's daughter sometimes.
I really hope the business doesn't go bust. It might be a necessary jolt, but it won't be good for Minnie. She has this one thing to her name and she has worked equally hard as her mother. It's hers as much as Babita's. Especially now that HS said the haveli is his and her mother's.
That Sindoor dialogue... I have no words. I'm just going to ignore this 20th century thinking.
