I think HS will have to bring the topic up, perhaps in relation to his own daddy issues. He suddenly brought up Mirza sahab as a sort of father figure the other day, so perhaps some of that void was filled as he was growing up. The fact that Mirza sahab showed so much trust in HS to go make something of himself and be honest with his work says a great deal and HS too got really emotional talking about him and being his son. It was a great parallel to his situation with Minnie, he needs to be like that Mirza sahab to her, and perhaps he will end up being the one to send her abroad for studies.

HS knows what Minnie has struggled with since he met her, but talking about it is important. I loved it when way back he told her she didn't need to be brave all the time and I hope he gets his mojo back to give her that secure space to reach out to him as a child needs a parent.

Role reversal of hospital scene....this time HS will be on the bed and Mini will be the one telling him how much he means to her.....not just "care", not just a "guide", not just "concern"...and not even just a "hero"....but so much more.

She did tell her friends that she knows he loves her and she loves him too, but I don't think she is able to accept him as just her Hanuman Uncle anymore. After getting a taste of what it would be like to be his daughter in the true sense, she can't go back to their previous state either. The only way is forward, to sealing this bond. She may not acknowledge or admit it but she clearly wants him to be her hero and not just because he makes Babes happy, but also in the way every daddy's little girl sees a hero in her father.

Oh, there are lots of mirrored scenes and role reversals on this show, so him being in hospital would be likely. However, she'd probably spend the entire time looking after Babita who'd be a mess. I want it to be something where HS has her undivided attention, because he has never really had that, except for brief moments during the Imarti track.

Wow, so I haven't watched those early epis even now but I guess I'm not surprised anymore to hear that Babita told Mini not to expect being taken to London with her father unless her father himself let her know if he could....lol apni beti ko bhi wish and hope karne se rok rahi thi Babita...*facepalm*

this was in the first 3 episodes. i watched from around HS entry but went back and saw to get an idea as to how things were in beginning. Mini was a lot different then. A bit shy and wary of her father too. but she still gathered courage to tell him inspite of babitas warnings that she wants to go with him to london this time. Took her 2-3 attempts to tell that. Even that was by chance there was a curtain in between and mini was practicing how to tell it to ashok. the curtain falls down and then she sees that he heard everything

In the past they talked about each other's issues but of late it's been only about Babita's issues, her problems, her happiness etc. Sure, it's important as she is the common person between them, but there's more to life than just her matters. Minnie especially needs to open up, she's suffocating as well, and HS is the only one who can truly get through to her. @bold: The Meeta comment especially needs to come to the fore sooner rather than later.....and I hope it atleast MATTERS enough to be revealed to HS....for his reaction to be shown....yeh nahin ki writers woh bhi bhool jaayein in the tendency to show the usual HS mode of "Ji Maalkin ji, koi baat nahin if you said this in anger"....blah blah.

CD issue toh I think will be tied to whenever a big HS-Mini confrontation happens to bring it to the fore again....heat of the moment mein hoga I think....Mini might burst out saying how much it hurt her and then he may finally reveal what he was thinking that day and what he's been thinking since.

OMG, that would be an epic scene! I would totally love it if that were to happen, and to see him being overwhelmed that his wife is going crazy over him. I mean, sure every husband wants to be loved by his wife, but yeh kuch zyaada hi hoga uske liye, considering Babita is not overt in expressing her emotions. He doesn't even know what is brewing at the moment, so I really do hope he finds out that Babita just wants to drown in this love.

He won't be able to handle it, especially since he has always wanted her to love him shiddat se. This is not the kind of shiddat he would have wanted or expected but it's not necessarily a bad thing in terms of emotions.

And it's not like as a husband he can tell her stop going nuts being so in love with me. 🤣

True, enough sweeping things under the rug.

And yes, we too, want that introspection and to find out what kind of fear it was he was referring to, why his self-confidence was destroyed that day and hasn't been restored since.

remember the live in comment mini got so embarrassed. i dont think she can tell HS ki my mother is lattu in your love that she has forgotten shop. she has to find a better indirect way to get he message across to him

Yeah she said that day that she knows he loves her and she loves him too....but then as of last week, the words have been changed to "he CARES for me, I CARE for him"....makes me think the writers are trying to walk it back and temper the emotions a bit so that they can put HS-Mini on the backburner again in order to focus on dealing with Babita's issues again.

Yes, a hospital role reversal is very likely since the show does love to do throwbacks and all. Babita toh is anyways a constant mess.....lol she was a mess when Mini was in the hospital too but HS managed to have that seperate scene with Mini na? So I think Mini will be able to as well if HS lands up in the hospital.....the girl can multi-task....unlike her mom😆

HS-Mini deserve that one deep conversation focused only on themselves, what they mean to each other....without the crutch of Babita....someone needs to whack that away from them.....tell each other what you meant to each other first....and why.
