Ideal mother for Rahi

We all know that Anupama has ruined Rahi's life and was living a peaceful life in orphanage until she was adopted. Inviting your views on the topic "Ideal mother for Rahi". Did not include Anupama because she had never cared for Rahi.

Honestly, imo, anupama is not an ideal mother for anyone..

Raahi better be left to herself.

Too late to articulate who is/would have been the better mother. That bridge has long passed.

And exactly how long was Onupama a "mother to Choti Anu, Adhya, Raahi combined to be "enough"?

Anupa didn't become the mother Anu deserved and also ensured she doesn't get another. She ensured Shruti leaves because she was thousand times better than her.

Maaya. Because she is biological mother (very important in this show) and has Maa in her name (again, can't stress the importance of this).

Seriously, I say Maaya as Choti was happy with her in Mumbai. Then, Anuj landed up there and things went downhill. But before that, she definitely seemed more happy with Maaya in Mumbai which I guess any kid would considering how Baa treated her and how frequently she saw her parents get majorly affected by the never ending Shah problems.

@Bold : Maaya indeed could have been a good mother for Raahi, also would have raised her to be a good human being had she been alive but she was shown as a vamp by the makers. She was guilt tripped by Pumaa when she said "Sirf tere liye hi apni udaan chodkar aayi hoon". The real culprit is Simpnuj Crapadia. He did not think of marrying after setting up his own company. Had he married at the right age, he could have had his own child. Sruthi who was 1000 times better than Pumaa could have been a good mother (After Maaya died) but she too was made a scapegoat in the "Cockroach Biryani Kaand" committed by Pumaa.

The bhest mother as per this show is Anupamaa, who literally walked out of the door after Choti had a near fatal car accident and didn't even try to contact her ever after that.

IMO, Baa, Dolly, Rakhi, Maaya, Shruti, Malti Devi, Beeji were all better as mothers, deeply flawed as some of them maybe. Even the crazed foster mother seemed to deeply grieve her real child whose loss literally broke her mind. Khyati and Vasundhra seem better as mothers as well but I do not watch the show as frequently as before.

While Toshu and Pakhi's upbringing flaws are put solely on Vanraj, Samar had blamed Anupamaa too before his death. So, in short, all of her children had big issues with her. I don't like to think of Bhairavi who Anupamaa adopted, Baa made her a servant and she vanished right after.

The only mother who seems worse than Anupamaa is her beloved Pakhi as whatever Anupamaa did, she didn't use her children for financial gains.

Simpuj is another topic all together. I rooted for that deceptive 'green forest' before realising the destruction that one man caused.
