It’s ok if he’s wearing worn out clothes, they should atleast look clean :(
I can’t blame Raavi for being embarrassed bc of it

Theek toh hotay hain uske kapde.. Ab three piece suit pehan k thodi ghumega wo 😂 faltu ka wo samaan wala aj suna k gaya usko sahab ko bulaaya lol
But i agree with the point that he should wear more clean clothes.. Iske baad i wanna see raavi going on a full on kapde washing spree for shiva 😆
Cute scenes aa sakte hain uss se
As much as I wish Shiva could be more fashionable and clean cut (I am remembering the black shirt during the party episode), I do respect him for choosing the clothes he wears.
A large part of his character is that he doesn't care about how the world perceives him. He wears what he wants and doesn't clean himself as often as he should because he doesn't care about outside opinions. For him, people accepting him for who he is, rather than what he appears as, has been a central portion of his character. I think by giving him cleaner cut clothes, the CVs would detract from the message.
I liked how Raavi's words prompted him to wear the black shirt and jeans instead of Dhara's words. There's a slight subtleness that he cares for Raavi's opinions, and I hope Raavi, in the future, speaks to his dressing and hygiene. I would much rather see a scene where Raavi convinces Shiva to dress more clean cut or do basic hygiene, than have Shiva one day magically do all those things.
In a way, I think of ShiVi's love story to be similar to that of Beauty and the Beast. Shiva's outward appearance may not be the most attractive, but his inner personality is what causes everyone to fall in love with him. Belle's love for the Beast is ultimately what changes the Beast, and I hope to see a similar love story here!
I shall copy-paste what I wrote in EDT.
Confidence, Comfortable and Unapologetic!
No, no matter how much Raavi feels bad or thinks that outward appearance is important, I think Shiva’s devil May care attitude has been put as a complete foil to Raavi’s “Looks Matter a lot’ personality.
We are introduced to Raavi-- a girl who is pretty concerned about her hair, beauty and above all, her glow on the skin. Shiva’s confidence, comfort and convenience in his skin shows how little outwardly appearance matters to him. A plot point that has a booming scope to sort between two individuals.
People can say what they want. Our society has enough obsession with the set standards of beauty, making every other person who doesn't fit the bill conscious, insecure and not enjoying his/her life.
Apart from all of Shiva’s Andhbhakti, this is the one trait that makes him highly adorable. Certain things are perfectly pitched in this show between Shivi:
1. A girl on a high pedestal of beauty is pitched against Shiva, who is beyond these shallow norms.
2. Raavi, who was left at the altar despite all the beauty in the world, now craves attention from someone who had no particular attachment to the societal Acceptance of beauty.
3. Raavi is introduced to the concept that beauty is only skin deep when she sees that the man who she considers uncouth cleans up well and can look like any other gentleman by merely a change of clothing. He goes back to what he was simply because he is neither ashamed of his demeanour nor considers it a significant aspect of his personality.
4. Finally, Raavi’s primal attraction to his form most of the time shows that men and women are biologically attracted first, clothes come later
To add, I think she will find Shiva charming despite not wearing white collared clothes.
I remember his dialogue that as if wearing clothes as a gentleman would bring business at the store.
Out of all the brothers, he was the most sensitive one and helped Gaumbi in the shop from childhood. It's okay not to change completely. If Raavi has to fall, she needs to love him for what he is and not what she makes him become.

I agree!
Just let him bath!
Clothes should be comfier.
I agree that Shiva should maintain good personal hygiene, for the sake of good physical health. However, his clothes are not anybody's business or concern. He can wear what he likes and what he is comfortable in, and should definitely not have to change who he is or what he wears, just because somebody is embarrassed or somebody else thinks he is a servant. The only reason he should change how he dresses is if he himself wants to
Agree but the thing is he does manual work in the shop even if he wears cleaner clothes in the morning by evening they will look dirty.
Agree with what everyone's said. His work doesn't require him to be polished, especially if they're going to get dirty. And his clothes are fine. There's nothing wrong I'm wearing track pants, with vest and plaid shirt. I do however wish that he would shower for personal hygiene reasons.
Plus from realistic perspective, he's probably the most normal one here with Krish..lol if I am at home, I dress in rags and PJs. I refuse to let go of my favorite Tees, shorts, and pants and they've all got holes in it. That's because they're simply the most comfortable clothes. And I know many of my friends do that too.
I think everyone's said it all. I think more than anything everyone needs to dress down a little. For me they all seem out of place more than Shiva.
However Shiva most definitely should pay attention to his cleanliness. He should have done this since young and it should have been reiterated to him since young, it probably was. But the fact that he doesn't tells me that he wasn't ready for marriage or a family life. It's not an excuse but I think we forget that he was put in a difficult position where he suddenly has a wife and had no time to prepare for a married life. He was fully comfy in his position with his family. He had no time to think about all of this - for all we know had he married in normal conditions he would have naturally made changes to his life including dressing and paying more attention to cleanliness.
Nice post! 😊❤❤
They want to portray Shiva as dirty and unsanitary
I mean he is working in a shop where he gets dirty while working so he wears comfy clothes. Dhara washes his clothes so its clean. When it is needed he wears nice clothes, so i think there is nothing wrong with his clothes.
hihi and we all know he is allergic to water, but I saw Shiva take a shower more often than the rest. They want to emphasize that he is taking a shower 😂😂
And there was this time when he said that he has to take a second shower! No one has to force him 😂
So in mine head he showers at least once a day and he start his day with clean clothes.
