Yes. Apparently they knew each other for almost 20 yrs and when her sister threatened to expose his father if he don't back out from marrying her, he asks her to replace her with the fl . So he basically arranged his arrange marriage and then acted like her entire family betrayed him and his family . He is in love with her but behaves like he don't like her.

Its a trope but men hopelessly and secretly in love with their wife is my jam... It's like so delicious.. She thinks he doesn't care and wants to leave and he is punching walls on realising that she is in danger

Yoo Yeon seok is a pretty hot actor. The role suits him

I can watch the episode on repeat!!!

Firstly, I watched and rewatched all family scenes!! They were so good! Loved Parveen today!! I'm hoping she'll crib about Bi Jaan's gifts to Urooj after what she got from Saman! Her ranting about her husband getting a second wife was hilarious! Forget Sadia, I want Parveen to fawn over Saman Shah over Bi Jaan.

Chachu was sensible and practical about the case and everything...but in all honesty he had a role in this because he was never fair to his niece.

Rafay was sarofying(he also felt validated because the engagement indirectly now confirmed his suspicions but who cares) and I loved how Mehru answered him back. But I didn't understand her last line, "I wish you had thought the same about yourself." What did it mean?

Amal disappointed me big time!! I was hoping she would give Shahnawaz a tight slap but she was begging!! Which means now she will still be after him and Mehru will find out how their engagement actually ended and either give Shahnawaz hell or believe whatever story Shah spins. Worst case scenario, Shah will convince her that he'll leave Mehru and marry her once Zain is out(the same story he sold his mother). But I don't see things ending well for her anyway.

Saman is a smart as hell woman and while she may be following Shah's plan because she has no other option...I think even instinctively she knows that something is off! She just can't put her finger to it yet. Btw even she was admiring Mehru in her bridal avatar. I loved her interaction with Mehru's family. She hated it! Once she realises Shah's feelings for Mehru, I think she is going to plot their separation. Her comment on the engagement this was hilarious! Poor Shah, he literally has to fight with the entire world to keep Mehru, including Mehru.

Shahnawaz is clearly the most excited of all for the wedding. The way he almost nervously asked his mother if he knew what to tell Mehru's family and got bitch-slapped was hilarious! The first meeting between families was nothing short of a TT match where one moment Shah was excited and the next moment he was anxious.
Sadia says she won't get them engaged: Anxious
Sadia says she wants them to be directly married: Excited
Saman says lets get them married next week: Excited
Saman says we will do ruksati at a later date: Anxious
Sadia says nikah and ruksati will happen together: Excited
At this point, Shah is ready to call Sadia Ammi

He clearly isn't looking forward to having Aftab as his brother-in-law and if he finds out that Aftab was worrying about Mehru's nasal because she was marrying Shah, he would've had him buried alive in his backyard and have his future kids play over his grave!

His conversation with his 'Mehru' was actually endearing. The way he was talking to her, assuring her that he will fix everything...as if in his head they are some star-crossed couple who are finally going to unite (his desire for Mehru must be a long-harbored one). I loved how he was confused at her tone when she said she was happy. It wasn't happy or excited just resigned.

He felt so shy when he came dressed as groom and when his mother 'thanked him for everything' he realised the papad he belofied to bring this day. What I understood from both Shah and Saman, they don't do confrontations or explanations. They just do what they want and expect people to fall in line. Mehru is going to give mother-son duo the shock of their lives!

Btw, if leaving Mehru after releasing Zain is the churan he sold to his mother to get her to agree to his scheme, then surely he must have a plan in mind to get Saman to accept Mehru. I wonder...all this talk about nasal...does his plan involve having a child with Mehru so that a) Mehru cannot leave him b) Saman is forced accept Mehru because of her grandchild

I am glad that Mehru isn't acting all lovey-dovey with her new fiance and is actually colder towards him than Rafay! Good! That was realistic since from her side this was an arranged marriage and frankly she would not have married Shahnawaz if she didn't have to! The way she cut the call in the end...left shah guessing. She better maintain this and this will drive him even more insane!

Also the wedding dress wasn't so bad. It suited Mehru. Although the ghagra wasn't so voluminous that it needed two people to hold it on either sides. Mehru deserved a solo entry in that lehnga. And Urooj also looked beautiful in that scene. Btw did Bi Jaan especially do blonde highlights for Mehru's wedding?

Also someone needs to show Saman Shah the promo of episode 22 and ask how is this a marriage only in name?
