Ad revenue of the PTV channel depends on ratings provided by media logic/kantar media, so they aren't much different from BARC. Now it's on people whom they want to believe ratings provided by channels (which disclose their source, age group, and areas) or ratings by some external social media account.

You have a point & I kind of agree with you. PDPTRP doesn’t seem to be recognised by the channels, some big names do follow him though.

It’s only for us people to compare the ratings of different channels.

What formula allowed Gentleman to achieve a TRP of 9 that one week? only to be corrected to 2.5 or whatever a few days later

Can you explain this to a layperson like me who doesn’t understand all these terms and matrices? What happened that week?

It was probably 7

Green only showed the TRP of a particular area B where it was watched by 7 percent of the total target audience falling in the age group of 20 to 45. PDPTRP had full data of other areas & it went down to 2.5 after standard formula was applied.

did the same thing happen to ZPKB where it had rating of 5 the other day and the actual number ended up being like 8 or something?

Next Khaqan show should only count the target audience in the age group of 18.5 to 30.3 who are into really really good looking actors..

Pdtrp messed up with Zard this week. They didn’t get the real ratings so reported channel flyers as a source. They corrected it to 6.9 later on. It’s still doubtful though.

Yes, 7 trp isn't trp of all A, B, C, and D areas but of limited urban areas. So either this account has access to medialogic data so it decreased it to 2.5 or it is just putting random TRP figures for green TV channels as ARY, Geo & HUM TV don't report green TV TRPs as their dramas are out of the top 3. Last week its source was Geo and ARY channel flyers, so how did it apply its formula to green TV dramas with just channel flyer data?

I think he has access to the whole data. PTV viewers have been quoting his data for years now.

Well the biggest superstar of the country himself couldn't manage to get a 10 trp for his much hyped and anticipated comeback, toh wahaj ka show getting it would be a big deal for us as anyways wed thur slot at geo is a dead slot, additionally it's currently in their super flop era, so I'm not having much expectations about the trp.

If it gets 10+ TRP, then it won't be just because of Wahaj. Drama also has Maya Ali and Hira Mani. Hira's drama JSPJ's latest episode has gotten 8.2 TRP on Hum TV. But people here would give all credit to only Wahaj if it gets 10+ TRP
