I fail to understand ppl blaming Saad..like he rejected the proposal of the girl he loved , he is trying his best to keep up the facade so that she gets what she desires...yet he is the bad guy here ?

It's maheer who is totally God knows what kind of character...yes its her choice to marry anyone , it's her choice to love someone..its totally okay if she doesn't wanna marry Saad. But what's actually frustrating is "IF " she knew she and Saad were engaged since childhood and their families want them to get married ,why the hell is she so blank and unapologetic about it ? Least she can do is show some remorse that she can't marry Saad. It's the character or hanias acting , she comes across as some ostrich who is unaware of what's happening around her..totally selective in her reactions. How coldly she said "Saad ne Sara ilzam apne sarr le liya" ..if she wanted to marry areeb why not tell her father instead of using Saad?

Anyone cud guess somethings wrong with the guy yet she is chirping around him , happily getting mehendi..arre behen at least ask him once why is he sad ?

@Bold..Mahi doesnt know about their childhood fixed marriage surprisingly😆,she only thought their parents have recently decided to get them hitched and assumed Saad is equally against it and doesnt want to marry her.

I agree with the fact that,Mahi being totally oblivious to Saad's misery is astounding to watch.His face is completely giving away that he is having some major problem,atleast ask for humanity sake that whats wrong with the guy or why does he look so disturbed!I dont know for some reason Mahi is shown cold towards Saad,as in she only considers him when she needs him for something.In the last epi as well the way she told in a cold manner that Saad took all the blame,she is not that grateful neither regretting that much.I guess the writer want to show Mahi getting ditched in the altar as a punishment for her or something.Hania is actually doing justice to the character,her character is pretty much selfish and detached and quite casual when it comes to Saad,she does not consider him much in her life thats what i concluded till now.

Well i loved Saad's character till epi 6,he is quite mature and talked sense but in the last epi i felt like the writer is trying to portray him as some farishta😆.Trying to do mehendi for Mahi,then doing decorations for his lover's marriage,it was over the top kind of mahanta which i dislike in a character and start getting itchy towards them😆.Saad was giving humane reaction till epi 6 but epi 7 was a bit too much.I dont want a mahaan ml..

As far as Mahi's character is concerned,till now she seems oblivious to every thing around her,her character is poorly written to say the least.I think in the promo of epi 7,where Mahi is all decked up and asked Saad how is she looking and after Saad's reply,the way Mahi looked at Saad,makes me think she atleast sensed that something is wrong with the guy,so i am waiting for that scene to air.

I feel like Hania shouldnt have taken this drama up,there is nothing much for her character to do.It is like a showpiece role,could have been done by any other xyz actresses..Wahaj is the only one who is actually getting a scope to perform in this show.Also the story seems to be based on Saad's character where all the other characters are being wasted as their character has no depth and just being there.This is what happens when a newbie writes a script based on only one particular character and others are just given screen space with no head or tail reasoning behind their character.A show cant go for long if its depended on only one character,there was needed to be some balance atleast.

Not defending the writers as I always look for fresh content but coming to love stories being repetitive, I just want to add my two cents, we have been seeing shows, movies based on love stories for ages and I think they are highly saturated, there is hardly anything new to show. Even Netflix popular show Emily in Paris has a very clichéd love triangle and it's not even just one love triangle but a bunch of them. More than the story what matters is the execution, if they execute it right and with logic, I don't see why the story would fail but sadly MPHT lacks in the execution part.

The drama has just started.. and I feel it will only get better.. As you said .. there's nothing new to the story. I am only enjoying the chemistry between its leads. And I am satisfied watching Wahaj as a heartbroken lover😳

But I feel Saad is just fine..he is dealing with his heartbreak on his own , without breaking things around without suicide attempts without much drama..if he actually assert his wish, he will be declared obsessive and toxic .

And maheer is underplayed totally. ..to the level of dumbness ...itna koi behis hota hai kya ? That way both maheer and areeb r dumb. But I'll give to them..in this phase everyone behaves like this..only this filmi talk of love matters..what their families think is irrelevant.. bhai if areebs mom is so much against the shadi , leave the house , get married , live Independetly what's the hassle ? Isnt he earning that much? Like parents must not force their wish on children , children must not do it either.

@bold..Saad is a character which i related to till epi 6..I loved the way he was trying to move on and was cold towards Mahi after she kept mum infront of the family and let him take the whole blame,that was the reaction i wanted from Saad.I wanted him to be cold towards Mahi,not giving her leeway everytime and be soft towards her.In epi 7 it looked like he is all ok with Mahi,which shouldnt be the case!The girl has let you take all the blame and didnt even bother to apologise properly,then why should he bother as well!Let her do her mehendi by herself and no he didnt need to help with the decoration after the kind of behaviour his chahu did with him,have your self respect and stay away.

Maheer character hasnt been shown much to actually draw a conclusion about her yet,she is ultra dumb,blind,oblivious,immature and selfish.Her and her chachu's family have drifted apart due to no marriage,the least thing she should have done is try to amend their relation when it has happened due to her.But she doesnt seem concerned about that at all and only busy with her own self.Saad doesnt even exist in her priority list.But the thing is she is younger and didnt see much reality and now in her own lala land with Areeb.And i find her character normal,because yeah, ppl who think about themselves before everything else exist.But the obliviousness i cant relate to at all.I am expecting character developement of Mahi after the incident.And Mahi isnt in love with Areeb,she is attracted and charmed by him,the writer has emphasized on it all the time.

Wahaj is good as Saad and Saad is kind of relatable.
