So technically shouldn't they think he would feel forced to marry Mahi and might not treat her well

How can u get your precious child married to a guy who had refused to marry her (I know the facts)

So are they thinking it's right for then to get Mahi married to Saad or are they punishing her

Thus is all W H X fault that we are trapped watching this show

This majboori ki shaadi doesnt make sense to me and it has been a trend on tv shows,if the groom doesnt show up then get another groom to marry that bride off as if the bride is some kind of showpiece who doesnt have any say and will have to do it to keep some rubbish maan of her family..Like seriously!!Ppl are chaniging with time and the drama makers need to change their thinking process as well!This kind of rubbish reason to only to get the leads hitched makes the watching experience of a show distasteful.Mahi looked absolutely numb in the teaser,she didnt seem to be in her sense,even after that how could the family just thought of getting her married to someone else is the solution.Is their maan so important than the daughter itself..

They dont even know Saad loves Mahi,as per them Saad rejected her,then how could they just force him to marry because the groom didnt turn up so it becomes his fault and he had to rectify by marrying her...Ppl are like Saad this ,Saad that and Mahi is some kind of witch or something.Heck Saad never cofessed his deep rooted feelings for Mahi,then how is it Mahi's fault that she cant see his love.Yes Mahi should have interrupted when he was the only one getting all the blame for rejecting marriage,that was selfish on her part.Also her being oblivious even after seeing that Saad is not alright,she could have just asked whats wrong with him or is he feeling alright.This is a major writing glitch here,she considers Saad her friend,then yeah she should have been shown a little bit concern after seeing him in some devastated state day in and day out as it is not normal.Why did the makers made Saad some kind of over the top farishta,who was looking after decorations of his lover's marriage and then willing to do her wedding mehendi😆(though i liked the scene)!Is he for real😆!And now also ppl are like Saad is giving qurbani,like seriously!He just got lucky and got another chance to get his love back😆.He loves that girl for 10yrs,he wanted to marry her for so long and now that its happening toh its him who is giving qurbani.Mahi is not a bad person,she did commit mistakes but thats a part of being a human.Ppl will be having major problem with her crying for Areeb,but they had to understand that she did like him and was about to get married to him,so when it didnt happen she will be sad and devastated just like Saad is for not getting Mahi.Yeah his love is much more highlighted in the show and i dont think Mahi is that much in love with Areeb but yeah she did plan a future with him and when all of that got tarnished and her marriage had become a mockery,then she will be heartbroken too and the viewers will need to accept that as well.

Wahaj Hania are really doing amazing with their characters which is making me watch the show for now,but the execution and direction of the show is really bad and it is kind of letting their good work down.

Also I don't get it why not find out about the baraat not coming

Go to his house ask the help they will tell the truth

Call but don't call that snob mom

And don't believe her nonsense

This show is disappointing to say the least and also i watched an iv of this drama writer where she was talking about some fl commiting suicide and how it is justified,i got kind of shocked hearing her regressive mindset and the same kind of thing the writer is trying to portray here by showing Mahi getting some kind of punishment by getting ditched bcs she unintentionally hurt Saad by not reciprocating his love or by being silent when he got blamed,because the next teaser was trying to pass that kind of messege...I absolutely dislike this kind of writing,where it is only about making a character mahaan and making the fl look like some kind of villain because she gave priority to herself or for having some grey traits which is actually humane.This show is regarding both the ml and fl then dont degrade one of them just to uplift the other one.

@Bold..it is 2023,but the drama makers are still stuck with this kind of age old tricks of getting the leads married... They could have just shown the leads getting married after falling in love,Mahi is broken now,Saad is having his own heartbreak,let them heal and fall for each other and then get them married but no they had to show some forced marriage for masala

You have pretty much articulated everything I have wanted to vent about this show. I honestly feel we are unable to get out of these patriarchal clutches thanks to regressive television shows. I used to feel actors like Wahaj etc must stop doing these types of shows.

But the fact is only these shows are selling. These dhakiyanusi old fashioned thought processes. Wahaj was in a brilliant show last year on Bangladesh revolution, believe me, it didn’t even get 1/4 of the views.

Maybe the fact is most people don’t want to watch complex things that make them think, they want to watch simplistic stories no matter how regressive they are. It’s like in another show, I said I am kind of stuck between masses and classes!!!

I hope Wahaj gets hired for a web series or something, Fawad Khan refuses to be in such Pak TV shows but the fact is bhaisaab he hasn’t been seen on screen for I don’t know how long. TLOMJ happened after ages. Pata nahi what is the future because TV will be here only. Makers know fully well what is selling.

Nothing has changed really for decades. Ekta kapoor introduced us to this bakwas, Gul Khan made it even more crass and now Pak Tv which we all had hoped with Shows like Zindagi Gulzar hai, Yakeen ka Safar will be a beacon unfortunately is also getting dragged down by greed.
India mei everyone said online platforms will bring better shows and it did happen but love stories have truly taken a beating everywhere. People are not writing love stories anymore, it’s all like you said deep as a puddle.

Not defending the writers as I always look for fresh content but coming to love stories being repetitive, I just want to add my two cents, we have been seeing shows, movies based on love stories for ages and I think they are highly saturated, there is hardly anything new to show. Even Netflix popular show Emily in Paris has a very clichéd love triangle and it's not even just one love triangle but a bunch of them. More than the story what matters is the execution, if they execute it right and with logic, I don't see why the story would fail but sadly MPHT lacks in the execution part.

We have basically only few same stories to present as love stories

Like Love after marriage story, haters to lovers, friends to lovers, love triangles etc.

But the main thing is execution as you said. Good execution can make an average story interesting. And bad execution can make an interesting story dull

Absolutely!This show literally is so down on the execution part.The scenes could have been directed in a much better way to make it more impactful.I have seen few big bang shows,the direction was never this lousy,the way it is in this show.Hania and Wahaj are both popular and a listers,then why it is that they are being directed in a show with such poor quality!And the hilarious part is,even after such poor quality direction and execution,this show is trending no1 on yt😆...A good execution would have given them so much more

Areeb actually comes to marry Mahi but sadly he is late and the marriage already happens between Saad and Mahi😆...He is speeding his car to reach the altar and meanwhile Saad and Mahi are on the verge of giving their consent for marriage...Just saw an ig story,i cant post link...
