Hello peeps :)..was a silent reader for quite some time, decided to join in the discussions here today!
Talking about the episode, I'd say it was quite alright. It wasn't that much of a dhamakedaar beginning, but that's okay.. we've all witnessed a fall down of a lot dramas after initial highs - I feel comfortable with this pace regarding Sanam 😆
What I demand off it for now is to shed a bit more light on the Harib-Ayla track, coz I found myself scratching my head once or twice.. That being said, there is only so much you can pack into one episode, we should be a bit more patient, and like at least try to keep MM or DeD out of the mind and give the drama a 'benefit of doubt'.
In regard to the chemistry between Harib and Ayla I didn't feel the proper vibes as of yet. I felt OKB was doing his job fine, HF contribution to the chemistry was lacking a bit.. but then again, that might just be on purpose.. maybe Ayla is not supposed to be that much into him. Time will tell.
Again,.. I know MM has left no stone unturned in making us all harsh critics, but we should try to disassociate Maya from Mannu and give Aan a chance. She had limited screen time, and all we know for now is, that she's a responsible, working woman with an MBA degree, who likes to wear the national dress of our country. As for now, I don't know what makes one think that she's oh so typically seedha, sadha or even a Mannu 2.0 ? GIve her a chance please.
Based on some of the comments on Osmaya: Those barely 30 seconds of Osmaya in the whole episode managed to bore some people off to the extent that it made it to their top cons of Sanam? 😲 Like it's fine if you don't like them together per se.. and it's obviously not a secret they've worked together before.. but the conclusion that it's boring off their fans is a bit premature in this case, no? I for once, enjoyed their brief encounter and it was a welcome change of events in the episode.
I'd also like to point out at this stage, that the shoooting of Sanam was majorly done at the time when DeD just went on air.. that massive popularity that Osmaya gained was a lot later, when the Wali Farah track became the focus of the story. So I believe it's wrong to assume they solely tried selling in on Osmaya at that stage with Sanam, since it wasn't that much of a thing back then.
