Earthquake..My Experience!

Gals, this was horrible.

As most of u know i am from Lahore.

Saturday morning i was sleeping and it was about 8:50 A.M when i heard my mom trying to wake me up and asking me to get out of the house as she also managed to rush outside...I didnt get what is happening becoz my mind was still asleep...then i felt my bed trembling from earthquake, i was like "Oh, its the usual low-intensity earthquake, why would we need to go outside?" By the time, i was thinking this i felt as if our house building was terribly shaken from left to right... I was shocked and hurried outside behind my mom... When i reached our garage, i saw all of my mohalla standing outside their homes and shocked on what was happening... Most of them were asleep and got scared at such an instant accident .... After a few minutes, we went inside and opened news channels... Geo tv was showing some initial news for the earthquake... and how terrible it was...they didnt have any news of destruction till then...While we were watching Geo, at 9:05 A.M me n my mom felt that earthquake is coming again, at the same instant the correspondent from lahore at GEO was telling GEO that they r experiencing second earthquake at the time-being...In the evening i heard that there were about 9 earthquakes all day (peshawar) and other areas.. the most bad it struck was islamabad ... and i heard that margala towers one building collapsed.. it was sooo sad.... when i was out in the market at 3:45 P.M i again experienced a slight earthquake...i was like why dont they just end up😕 They kept on coming again n again and still after one whole day has passed, ppl r forecasting that noone can say anything..they can even come again in the next 48 hours....God Forbid!

The morning earthquake which came at about 8:50 A.M , it was the most severe earthquake i've ever experienced...i literally felt as if my house was going to come down on us all ... Thanks to Allah, we are all safe... I feel so sad for the families that suffered the accident and especially for the ppl living in margala towers😭 May Allah keep us all in His safety and give patience n courage to the sufferers...AMEEN

OMG. Allah ka Shukar hai keh aap aur aap ki family bilkol khiriat saye hain.

after trying for the whole day. we finally got hold of my Mamoojan. He lives in Islamabad. ALlah ka shukar hai they are bilkol theek thaak. they live in my Nana Jan, Nani Ammi's home. aur woh appartment buildings kafi porani hain. and more like the Margala Building. tu earthquakes ki wajha saye ghar main dardian/cracks aagye hain. infact pori building main. so they were told to vacate the home. and now they are living in my MomaniJan's ghar.

I am so sad. but happy too, keh woh log sahi salamat hain. Allah keh Shukar saye. aur Sad coz. that house is my Nana Jan's home, aur uss ghar main unki khushboo basi howi hai. hummara batchpan udhar guzra hai, itni dhear sari yaadian hain. aur now its near to collapse. 😭

oh God i hv also experienced this quake as i too live in lahore..and it was really terrible..i was sleeping and my father wake me up...and then we rushed outside...but thx to ALLAH we r safe..

omg.if da quake was felt in lahore den wot abt da north.thank god evrybody is safe n for doze who died lets pray for dem.

Allah ka shukar hai that u n ur family is fine Maana...i saw the sites of places where earthquake came on TV n it was soo sad..May Allah give strength to ppl who lost their family member

The quakes didnt stop since saturday...i heard that they felt 2 quakes again in islamabad yesterday i.e sunday ... but in lahore, they were not felt...
Its too horrible to think about the people lying half-alive/dead/alive beneath that rubble of margala towers in islamabad...we really need to pray for those places that are completely collapsed like muzaffarabad and mansehra..May Allah help us all Ameen

Manna, I heard that they were around 150 aftershocks all over the area. My Momani Jan was also saying keh her thori dear baard Islamabad main earthquake aata hai.

Allah karye keh all those under Margala towers are alive. coz its now more then 36 hours I think. aur issye main without food, water, oxygen.

Allah Saab ko apni Hifz-o-Aman main rakhye. Ameen Som Ameen
