Germany is a highly industrialized country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life.
When we arrived at Hamburg , my colleagues walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.
There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.
As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us.When we left, there was still about one third of un-consumed food on the table.
When we were leaving the restaurant, the old ladies spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food.
"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind," my colleague told the old ladies. The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform from Social Security organisation arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Euro fine. We all kept quiet.
The officer told us in a stern voice, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES."
The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame. WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat.

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.



Swami Vivekanand:- Why has life become complicated now?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Stop analyzing life.. It makes it complicated. Just live it.



Swami Vivekanand:- Why are we then constantly unhappy?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Worrying has become your
habit. That's why you are not happy.



Swami Vivekanand:- Why do good people always suffer?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer.
With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.



Swami Vivekanand:- You mean to say such experience is useful?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.



Swami Vivekanand:- Because of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading...

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.




Swami Vivekanand:- Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.



Swami Vivekanand:- In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.




Swami Vivekanand:- What surprises you about people?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me?"



Swami Vivekanand:- How can I get the best out of life?

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.




Swami Vivekanand:- One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

STATE OF AFFAIRS

These days we are living in has to be the reckoning of man and how the human race is going to go forward in this millennium.It took so much time for america to start bombing the new threat in the middle east named ISIS "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant." The land of the free and the home of brave started bombing not to save helpless innocents fleeing their own land but to protect american lives and american interests.

People proudly and boldly proclaim that technology has shrunk the world and brought everything and everyone closer and that the boundaries have blurred.Sorry,for i think although technology has brought people and nations closer,it also has pushed the divide between the poor and rich and made clear who will and will not survive.In the movie 2012 people buy tickets worth a billion dollars to get a seat on the ships built by many countries in secret.That information stuck with me and yes that is the state of affairs today.

I sometimes wonder and ponder on what the muslims are doing to the world and to their own brothers and sisters in the middle east in thr name of religion.Beheading lives raging from infants to the old and weak,muslims of the sunni and shia factions are committing genocide in the name of allah.The same happened in africa when millions of lives were lost in ethnic wars which continue to date.A wise friend of mine laughed my fears off and said "f**k them for the world will be lighter and they are doing it to themselves."Needless to say i dont think he is wise anymore nor do i get to see him for i consciously avoid him.but that is me and i know many will vouch for the above opinion.

CNN,BBC and all our indian news channels on hourly basis update me on how the killings are going on.It is harsh,but i can imagine adults being maimed and killed but children,infants and even new borns.And many a time is see those muslims scream allah o akbar before launching a missile or shooting their guns happily provided by russia,america,china,france,england etc.Stoked by repressed anger and roused by imams,the youth of middle east are raging wars and dying by the thousands caught in the grip of hormones and falsely placed sentiments.I wonder if peace is possible and i really hope and pray for the arrival of someone who really believes in the koran and islam.The current crisis in syria,iraq,gaza strip and in afghanistan will spread and the largest and richest country in the region,namely saudi arabia will continue to keep mum while still housing mecca.Power and money,two potent and lethal combos are reigning and ruling the roost and religion has come to play cleverly orchestrated by corporate powers.


I am a soul with little knowledge and i am not well versed about the daily happenings globally.what little i see and hear is from tv when i am having food and i think i am going to stop doing it.simply because it is really disturbing and makes me realise how intolerant and ignorant we are and how little lives matter.I wish there was one channel which talks about good things and good deeds but sadly no.every channel for ratings go in search of rapes,murder and death for the multitude seem to be interested in only that.

Wow doc,see that is why you are a doc.i wrote in length about 108 and yet it escaped my sight that i have come to page 108 and my post numbered 2108.honestly a sherlock holmes i will never be,maybe a watson.

i am feeling blue after hearing about robin williams death.the second i heard it on the news something hurt in my chest and i felt funny in my stomach.i felt the same way when michael jackson died.not to mention a few others.sad,really sad.the world is a poorer place with his passing and even sadder with no more of his comedy and smiles.i hope he finds peace where he has gone to.and to top it all,depression,he was suffering from depression.

Oh how the mighty fall.Hiding behind a puppet government in ukraine they have crept close to the russian borders and have started a civil war and lives are being lost not to forget the malaysian airlines carrying civilians who died at the hands of the two warring sides and no one has stood up and taken blame.Most of the guns and ammunition used today in violence and in wars of all nature all over the world come from the top arms manfacturer's russia,america,france,england,south africa,is there a reason or any justification as to how these weapons find their ways to these terrorists and warring parties.AK 47,M 16,GLOCK,SIG SAUER,BERETTA are names now known all over the world by most movie and tv audiences.These are deadly weapons of force and you have to wonder how they make their ways all over the world.


When president obama came to power,thousands of miles away,across oceans i sat and watched him in awe take the oath and thinking how happy all the african americans would be and it would be a healing balm for all that they have endured at the hands of KKK and other similar racists.Obama came to power and millions of colored people all over the world rejoiced his victory and said that is one small step and a giant victory for all colored people,black,brown,yellow who have been f**ked up for many centuries in sugar plantations,kidnapped and transported like animals in ships to places all over the world by the whites.As obama swore his oath many thought that the slain martin luther king would be finally at rest but this president is one of the most useless and inept man to ever take office.The head of the most powerful country has done nothing but run and hide and we see more of his fashionably dressed wife.No tears have been wiped,no wounds have been healed,no change in world politics,no taking any kind of lead on the world stage and will soon vacate office and hit the lecture tour earning millions.


I think it is safe to say that there can never be peace or that mythical term global peace simply because there ar now billions fighting for means that can support half of that lives.i think the best and funniest parts are yet to played out in this 21st century and i think i will be around to see the endgame.who knows my sorry,bony and withered ass might just melt with someone chucking a thermo nuclear bomb over india.


What is it going to take to bring peace and calm all over the world i wonder.god surely played a cruel joke when he made men in different colors and shapes and i think the real test is this and only if we pass this can we evolve into something more and a better version of todays homosapien model.maybe when peace and calm brings happiness to all lives on this planet,we might spend more time thinking about other things which will take us all farther into a great future and years of great prosperity for all life on this planet.
