I personally like Anaroo... she is the best actor of the lot. Maybe followed by Tetar and Damadji not to mention Dadi. Till what I have seen I may not have seen variations in Babbu's expressions but he has potential. Lets hope he gets to emote more with more screen space, time and emotions.

DBO babu's got more space than Babbu from what I have seen till now. And I still kind of like Babbu's charecter better. I find that the comic timing between Nimki and he are good, special mention to the money returning and the cycle crashing scenes. While Nimki has the tendency to overact... I found Babbu's expressions to make things more funnier in those scenes. HOpefully we will get more comedy from the Tetar family with Nimki.

I am not a seasoned viewer of ITV shows... but do read a lot about the trp and such lol.. From that angle... I understand what we are going to get... but then...I sure will side with the TRP aunties than sit and watch a Rudali Nimki or an unrealistic Nimki... my views 😉 Butchering a character on TV is a given when a show gets into the Saas bahu mode... lets see if this PH will give us something different.

Same here the actress playing anaro is doing a fab job, but I like Tetter a little more than her.😳 But Anaro is my fav female character in the show. If given a chance in politics she can give a good takkar to Tetter and damadji. It's sad that she has to stay confined inside the haweli. Her only drawback is her proud which clouds her sharp political insight, but it gives a real touch to Anaro. I especially like her and tetttar's love life. 😆 especially when he said, that he wished her happy birthday in the midnight like a teenage boy, how much more love does she and everybody expects him to show 🤣

I agree very much with you on the marriage part and the reasons why the marriage should happen.
People like Tettar Singh and Naher Singh ruling by proxy is almost a pan Indian phenomenon.
Why only in villages? A certain lady was made PM because the party thought she was a Goongi Gudiya and could be used like a puppet. She went on to prove what she is made of.Love her or hate her but one could not ignore her while she was alive.(Don't want to take her name and discuss politics😛😆)
@bold red - You put those points across very well.I was trying to put those points across but was labelled as supporter of saas bahu drama and Babbo admirer and felt that I was being *jealous* of BDO babu 😆

I don't really care for the way Nimki is behaving right now. May be being Bahu of Haweli is her dream and her dream is colouring everything and clouding her already limited vision.
No I don't want to see her being rescued by any HEROES. I would love to see her become the HERO of her own life.
Don't understand why a girl needs a HERO to rescue her and support her.

Thanks for the appreciation. 😃

@Goongi Gudiya: Thanks for reminding us that what's happening to Nimki is not for the first time or the last time. itihaas gawah hai (and I don't want to take names and discuss history either now a days it becoming more dangerous 😛😆 )

@bold: Same pinch. Swag se hua mera bhi swagat 😆

And just once for a change I too would like to see this damsel taking care of her own distresses 😳

@bold: doesn't this oxymoronic term automatically makes him a hero? A villain who is fake, so what he is is? 😆

Why does Abhi needs to end up with Nimki, just because he helps and protects her? iss logic se toh all the NGO people should be marrying their clients 😆 And my question is to the writers as well, what was the need to for making abhi fall for Nimki that too so abruptly, there was no base behind his feelings. All I got is she brought him food, chated with alina where most of the time alina made more sense 😆 while abhi shook his head and once or twice Nimki got excited and was about to hug him and once she hugged him after the accident, bas ho gaya pyaar? Abhi is not some typical Mills and boonish brooding hero, who is torturing himself with his wife's memories and needs a sunshine and laughter in the form of silly sweet innocent virgin heroine. He is a brave and kind person, who had the courage to laugh and enjoy the life with his daughter. He also has some intellectual needs which Nimki fails to fulfill. Why not bring some other girl for him. May be Alina's school teacher, who won't have a high opinion about him over corrupt habits. But one day during her election duty (taking the cinematic liberty of sending alina to a public school😆) she gets to see a new side of abhi where he ensures fair elections along with EC officers. Why can't they bring a lady with whom abhi can chat about his favourite poems, the poems which he now really don't get much time to read. Why does he have to idiotically think that banal talks are cute all the time. Together they both can influence Nimki in many ways and hence be relevant to the show. They can show Nimki what real relationship is all about.

Abhi is a guy who is brave enough to hold a real woman, let him have her, he deserve it, or let him move on. Indraneel is a well known face, I'm sure NM is not the end of the world for him. Being devdaas for Nimki will do no good for abhimanyu.

There is provision for a nobody I guess.😆 Hero he never was, a villian he couldn't be. Every bahaduri he had was because of Pitashree and without pitashree even Jharia disobeys him.😆

In whole he's nothing and good for nothing.(Babboo)
If there's no love why there's marriage??
He never loves Nimki then why he should marry her??
So Nimki wedding with Babboo is "USELESS"

Same logic should apply for Babboo also na? Even Babbo deserves a compatible life partner and not a fan girl. One who can love him unconditionally ,guide him when is wrong and inspire him to make an identity of his own.Nimki as I said needs a reality check and not a marriage.
Of course Abhimanyu deserves a better person but since drama quotient is inevitable Abhimanyu had to fall for this Sarfiri ladki.Probably he thought if his Mausaji didnt die after marrying his mausi, he too will not die after marriage😆 You will have to watch Sarfiri ladki part 2 when Baboo falls for Nimki.

I too didnt like the sudden change in his character with those stupid dream sequences. I expected maturity. I expected subtlety and that didn't happen. They made him another Tunne. Nevertheless pyar aandha hota hai is tried and tested formula, very much like the saas bahu drama you will get to watch after Nimki's marriage to Baboo Singh.

Its was Nimki herself who wanted either a govt servant or a haveliwala as her husband. So, storywise Abhimanyu is definitely not helping like an NGO worker. With the same logic people dont get married to reluctant life partners to learn the ways of life or get inspired as Nimki is expected to do after her marriage to Babboo Singh. The viewers didn't choose the current track of Abhimanyu vs Babboo. The promo was like that only. So the question keeps on evolving in every such thread. Why Abhimanyu when he is corrupt? The answer is simple. Because he is obviously a better choice. Given a choice between a tiger and an elephant, I will choose to keep the elephant although both of them are capable of killing me. The elephant however wont kill me because he is hungry. The tiger will. I will be his lunch. Babboo can kill Nimki, Abhimanyu won't. Baboo infact tried killig Nimki while Abhimanyu saved her. So, if the choice is restricted between Abhimanyu and Babboo, I will opt for Abhimanyu.Otherwise options like Rahul Gandhi and Salman Khan was always there.😆

The points you are explaining was shown and is there in the show but the only fact here is "I like Babboo so he's right and good for Nimki"

@bold: 🤣

Yes same logic applies to Babbu as well!! He definitely not deserves to be tied down unwillingly in the same way as he doesn't deserve an unconditionally loving girl. It's babbu we are talking about. He is incapable of doing something unconditionally. So he better not expect something which he himself is unable to deliver in the first place. Yup he definitely deserves a marriage of consent, fine, then pack your bags, leave that goddamn haveli (saare fasad ki jad😆 ) and be on your own, roka kisne hai? Can he do that? No. Why? Because Babbu may not agree with your proposed provision of being a nobody in general 😆 but even he would agree that without his father he would be a nobody. He might protest with gun and all but bottom line is that he is too parasitic to have a self esteem and stand up for himself. Then in that case does babbu gets to play the victim card in this whole marriage? Nope!!

Just because Nimki wanted a govt servant really doesn't mean that the govt servant's world should automatically start revolving around Nimki ji. My god the dream sequences, they did some serious denting to his character growth. Completely agreee, it was like watching Tunne part 2 (Though tunne does a good job, I enjoy him most of the time)

Yes people don't get married to reluctant partners to learn life lessons, but this doesn't mean that they don't learn a lesson when they marry a reluctant partner, that too after already sensing a certain degree of reluctance and Nimki is about to learn one. Fair enough for her. I never said that Nimki is getting married to learn a lesson, it's just a part of the deal she is signing without noticing the asterisks.

Abhimanyu might be bestest of the best for NImki, and as a audience we all have a right to have our own expectations, but Nimki has chosen Babbu for what so ever reasons and that needs to be respected and between Tiger and elephant you might chose a elephant I might chose the ring master but if somebody chooses tiger we have to give him that. And I would expect the elephant to move on😆

P.S. It's crystal clear our choices don't match but I think we all should for once leave this babbu vs abhi thing aside and worry about the serial as a whole, some heavy duty K soap drama is waiting for all of us 😆

I thought anyone who is forcefully married at gun point is a victim.
He did try to run away although reluctantly. Then his father brought him back with force. He knows he has to die or has to kill hos father to stop this marriage. Packing bags wont help here. That is how he is indeed a victim. He is a moron because e didnt talk to Nimki about it. So, a moronic victim.

How do we know he is incapable of doing anything unconditionally? He loves his mother and sister. Who knows he would have loved his wife if he could choose her. His character didnt develop at all. We had no scenes of him discussing his love life.

The options are restricted here. You have no ring master to choose . You are right. People have their own preferences and people also have their own logic to justify that. I dont mind her choosing the tiger as long as she doesn't expect the elephant to help her as she usually does. Its amazing how the elephant gets the sos call every time while the tiger has no responsibility despite of being the chosen one.

Ab sundar si ladki hath pakadke sarkari naukri wala dulha mangegi to manma emosion to jagbe kari na?😆 IMHO if Nimki's choice deserves respect, Abhimanyu's choice also deserves the same respect. He had been helping Nimki because he loves her and not because he is a social worker. He has every right to do so. He has moved on already and have accepted Nimki's decision. Its just that unlike Ram and Nimki, he genuinely doubts Babboo and Tettar's intentions behind this marriage.

P.S. Frankly speaking, its not Abhi vs Baboo. Its about the arguments that come against Abhimanyu's POV.
