Did we get back our dues?

And the journey continued. With the strong support of the masses Navya retained itself but at the cost of a change in time slot.😳 Even I supported the campaign coz I felt it was unjust to leave it midway. And our hopes raised….the hopes of something bigger and better. But with each passing day we began to think 'Is this what we wanted?'❓ Anant-Navya left the Bajpayee house and my heart shouted out loud 'Jaan bachi' Each day of their hardships was still liked as Anant took his first step towards standing on his own feet. And Navya always stood by him as his pillar of support. The bunch of friends tried to help them in all possible way. We became a part of Navya-Anant's 'Choti si Duniya'. But amidst all this we lost something. Our beloved Mishra family which happened to be the USP of the show was chopped off for cost cutting.😔 And all positive energy left with them. The elders of the Bajpayee family who, till now, were portrayed as people with orthodox and yet noble thoughts suddenly became villains(special jadi booti effect). The image of Shankar Dayal Bajpayee was ruined. We hated it😡 but were satisfied as AnYa were still together. Thereafter Navya brought in many of the 'Nayi Soch' we had long been craving for. But these were like the much awaited items served in dirty dishes.

Navya became the eyesore to everyone in the Bajpayee house. She began to be considered as the reason behind Anant parting from his family. At this low ebb, Navya saw new faces to some of the most convincing characters and this added to the bulk of reasons pulling the show down. Nimi's marriage broke off and Navya began to be considered the reason behind it and she still continues to be. This was never cleared. Anant met with an accident and returned home forgetting all his promises and thus disappointing us.👎🏼 Silent wallpapers aka DA Sr and Jr, whom we wanted to speak for themselves now began to speak, but all against Navya. BD continued with her Saazish ka Daur and finally the truth was revealed before Anant. We viewers expected a strong reaction from him and a heartfelt talk with Navya about this painful issue. But the CVs skipped it. In the meanwhile cracks developed in RitBir relationship and things became so bitter that they parted ways. We viewers awaited to see them reunited through their friends' efforts but all in vain. A most unwanted thing happened. Ritz-Ranbir story was converted to Nimi- Ranbir story.🤢 We continued to show our displeasure but it landed in deaf ears. Frustrated and fed up of all these happenings of disinterest, I gave up watching the show. But I continued to read the updates everyday with hopes that at least today's episode will be worth-watching but all in vain. Amidst all these Navya showcased some new changes in traditions which it was supposed to, but in a most unwelcome way….not from the heart. Finally it was decided to drop the curtains to this story. But whether Navya(the character) will get her due worth in the Bajpayee mansion remains hanging in the air. I wish the half baked plots and the dirty secrets are revealed and the evil turn good once again as the show closes.

And today as I sit to calculate my gains and losses through this show, I am at a loss. This show gave me some wonderful friends from different corners of the globe🤗, it touched our hearts with its appealing story for once. But I still remain unsatisfied. We witnessed the growth of the leads as actors and I sincerely pray that Shaheer and Somya and all other fantastic actors of the show get opportunities to showcase this talent of theirs in near future.

But after so much of effort and the successful campaign of retaining the show to its closure, one thing repeatedly keeps coming to mind 'Did we get our dues back?' What do you think?

Thank you Mridzee for this awesome poll/post👏 and also for explaing me the last option. SaveNavya was a kind of historical movement in the history of Desi TV, coz I guess no show has been saved like this days before it was suppose to go off air😛😃. Fans devoted their precious time to saving a fictional show just because they loved it dearly and also because each one of us felt that this show still has lots many things to offer and it just cannot go off air so abruptly!😳

At that moment, we were witnessing the horrible MU track (well, honestly speaking, though the track was horrible, I still dont loathe the CVs for it coz this track gave us a "special character" called Amar😛... I remember Resh putting up his pic as her DP those days!😛 Uff, such fonding memories of the forum just flashed before my eyes!!😆) Sorry to go off-track!😛 Ok, so I was saying that even though the show was going through a suffocating track, we all wanted to save it BECAUSE there were many things which were still unaddressed (actually, they ARE still unaddressed😳!!) There was the Nimi-Nikhil track, which was poorly handled. Nikhil was the bad guy here but the entire blame went to Nimi. Then again, we had Gautam-Renu-Gudiya issue pending, which, unfortunately, is STILL pending and conveniently forgotten by the writers. We wanted to see Mohan and Sanjay getting a spine and speak for their rights: Sanjay Chachu ko toh mil gaya, poor Mohan remained vanchit of this sukh!😳 We wanted to see AnYa standing on their own feet and carving a niche for themselves: we got the awesome (the only awesome!) Kholi420 track, which was short lived. (This is the worst thing about Navya the show: they kheechofy the ghatiya tracks while quickly wind up the awesome ones!😳) We wanted to see AnYa bridging the gap between the older and the younger generation: what we saw was Baba n BD turning from orthodox to evil, stooping to a new low everyday to break AnYa relationship👎🏼! We wanted Suggi n chhoti Suggi to come out of their wallpaper image and speak up for their rights; they did open open their mouths, but only to spew out venom against Navya. In short, we wanted to see a fresh and realistic show, what we got was a stupid saas-bahu tamasha with idhar-udhar ka romance n nice scenes as a haddi to us hungry dogs😳 Not to mention, we got a totally unecessary NimiBir ka bakwaas romance🤢 at the cost of butchering of our RitzBir😔

So my answer to your question is: NO. We didnt get any dues, we are infact badly cheated!! This show never deserved our time ever since the Kanpur track!! Sorry if I sound rude, but that's the truth.

*sigh* My last post in this forum is actually full of rants. I am so sad to see that a show which started off on such a wonderful note, is ending with such craps. This show needed to go: glad that it's going. SS2 deserve much better than this crap.

Nevertheless, this show will always remain close to my heart, coz I met such wonderful friends as you all. No matter what, I hope we all remain friends forever🤗 *blows kisses*

The Navya promos were exciting. The title song was amazing and we knew that the show was going to pump in fresh air into the jaded world of soaps.
The show showed great promise. It had fresh young leads whose chemistry was awesome from day one. We fell in love with them, just as we fell in love with the Mishra family. Anant's family were orthodox and made me feel somewhat uncomfortable but I thought they were only a part of the story.
I won't go into the details of the downhill slide. Many a times we were disappointed, but thanks to the forum we were able to express ourselves and discuss with each other what we felt. We raved and ranted together and became friends.
Then came the #savenavya campaign and we saved the show and came closer to each other. Time and again we felt that the CVs did not feel the pulse of what the viewers wanted to see. Agreed, they had a story to tell, so they couldn't give in to our demands all the time. But in their hunt for the elusive trps they almost ruined the show.
Through all the ups and downs, Shaheer and Somya continued to delight us by their magic. They simply lit up the screen when they appeared and swept us off our feet. Their off screen interviews revealed their goodness and innocence, so much so that even the journos developed a soft spot for them.
We wove our dreams around them. We wanted them to be together always. On some days we were delirious with happiness and on others down in the doldrums. We loved them no matter what.
Like a lamp which suddenly shines brightly before being extinguished, Navya took a turn for the better. The much awaited changes began and we were excited to see a positive Rama come out in support of Navya. By this time many loyal viewers had moved on thanks to the erratic story line.
Suddenly they decided to end Navya. We were stung by this decision to end the show just when the 'Nayi Soch' was being implemented.
Once again began another #savenavya campaign. Though we were fighting a losing battle, nothing could dampen our enthusiasm. We loved the show and we loved Our Anya/Shamya and this time it was for them and what they had given to us.
The CVs, in a fit of cruelty, broke the gang up by breaking the beautiful relationship between Ranbir and Ritika. The NimmiBir romance seemed to be an act of vengeance, as if they wanted to take away our Navya from us even before it ended.
We cried together. Cried for all the magical moments, cried at being separated from our very own Shamya whom we loved so much. It seemed as if a part of us was being torn away from us and the pain was unbearable.
We cried on each others shoulders. We comforted each other and slowly came to terms with the fact that Navya was ending.
It is now time to move on with so many wonderful memories. We want Shaheer and Somya to reach great heights and of course if they came back together in another show it would be an added bonus. This time the show should do full justice to their talent. Our love for them makes us want only and only what is best for them. So we wish them all the best from the bottom of our hearts.
