*sigh* Not again.

This adda was opened for a group of people to pay their last respects to the show, a show that brought a group of people from different parts of the world to discuss their love for a show together.

I'd like to state the fact that no one has bashed the show here. The people have only expressed their disappointment with the treatment of a wonderful show and fantastic actors. No one is out to hurt anyone's sentiments, or bash Navya. Heck, all of us have memories associated with it!

Yes, some of us were not a part of the second #SaveNavya campaign cause by then we'd lost interest in the show cause we didn't like the "progression" of the track. Does that mean that we don't like some aspects of the show anymore? Does that mean we're not allowed to pay our last respects to the show anymore?

It truly hurts to see how even during the last 2 days of Navya, people are misunderstanding us.

To be honest, a MAJOR reason for us to leave the show was the fact that our opinions were never appreciated. The forum has always shown us a cold shoulder because we've been vocal about our opinions related to the show. Just so you know, we watch other shows, and if we don't like something in them, we criticize them the same way we'd talk about Navya. It does NOT mean we hate the show, or the actors, or the characters. We're just vocal. We're all living in democratic countries, and we all have a right to free speech.

Bashing means to insult or demean an actor/show/character. We have NEVER done anything of the sort. Need I remind you, there were a LOT of posts bashing Amar Sir, just cause he caused MUs between AnYa. We were the ones to try and see the positive side in his track, while laughing a bit along the way. Even in this thread, NO ONE has insulted anyone or anything. All we're doing is lamenting about a show and remembering our old memories associated with it.

We just mentioned an actor in a few posts and swooned about that person. Would we still have gotten the same reaction had that actor been a film actor? We're sorry, but we didn't realise that mentioning other actors in a few posts and fan-girling about this actor would hurt the sentiments of a large crowd. Once again, I apologise for hurting your sentiments.

We're not here to get our dues. We've come here to pay our last respects, and interact with long lost friends through this platform once again.

But if all this is still unacceptable, forgive us. On behalf of my friends and I, I apologise for hurting your sentiments yet again.

I shall not write/talk more, cause I'm afraid that you all will find something offensive in this particular post of mine as well.

even v too dint like few tracks of d show and even acceptd tht fact, bt v expressd in a respectful manner, atleast v dint make fun of them and insulted by using funny words. yes ofcourse u hav complete ri8 to express what u feel, and am sure here any fellow members nevr stopd u frm doing. but pleas express so that it doesnt hurt others and their feelings. u als knw words one spoken cant b taken back. so ts a kind request if u dnt knw to respect other plz dnt expect others to understand or respect u. u guys hav movd on ri8? then y turning back? anyways thanq 4 showing ua LAST RESPECT. gud wishes. thanq.

@ Jen. I forgot about Harry. How could I ? Those were the fun days with Harry and his jokes. I thought you were talking about the guy going to be married from the US and who had invited ANYA for it.

same feelng here divya well said..its really true that --- ' jb khud par bitti h tabhi insaan ko pata lagta h'..if we want we can even mk a gud fun of other shws..but we r navyains..rytnw we r nt in a state of fyt..but in state of crying..hope those ll undrstnd wen their so called ''favrt shw'' ll go offair :-l

I guess the very purpose of this final adda has been defeated.

I believe, it was initiated by Mrids to reflect over our journey with NAVYA over the past 15 mos, recollect sweet memories & reconnect with buddies. We could have easily done that by choosing to overlook all bitter moments & by reliving only the fond memories. The intention here was to bond with each other for one final time - by being sensitive, dignified & respectful towards the thoughts, opinions & feelings of friends who still follow the show wholeheartedly!

IMO, the 'adda' was always above & beyond the show. It was about like-minded, mature ladies coming together, sharing healthy & humorous discussions & agreeing to disagree - albeit in a very respectful manner; without crossing limits, hurting sentiments, questioning personal beliefs & poking fun at each others' choices.

This thread was meant for paying tributes to NAVYA. Mentioning other shows or discussing something not related to NAVYA even remotely, was totally uncalled for & cannot be justified. It was definitely not in good taste & very hurtful.

Shows might be fictional, but people following them are real & their feelings ought to be respected. It was supposed to be as simple as that!

Its true that some things will never go back to being the way they used to be! But for the sake of all the good old times, we could have made an honest attempt to bond together for one last time & bid adieu gracefully!

Its not so much the journey that's important; as is the way that we treat those we encounter and those around us, along the way!

OMG...had alot of respect for some people on the adda and i've just had a reality check!

Expressing opinions at the expense of hurting others is not called for...if you love another show go to that forum and rave about it NOT HERE!!

Navya may not have been perfect but for some of us it was brilliant every show has its ups and downs and Navya is no exception!!

IMO SHAHEER AND SOMYA ARE THE BEST COUPLE IN TELLY WORLD AND THERE IS NO-ONE THAT CAN COMPETE WITH THEIR INNOCENCE AND SIMPLICITY #SHAMYA ROCK

NAVYA FROM THE FIRST EPI WAS UNIQUE AND IN MY OPINION REMAINED UNIQUE TILL THE LAST

From the replies on this thread I realize that inadvertently I have hurt or upset people with my replies.I have gone thru all the replies and do not see it but since it has hurt you I am sincerely sorry for that as it was never meant to be taken in that regard.

I was very glad to have our adda opened after so long and written by an adda mate. I had mentioned to another adda person I was planning to open a post this week to showcase the journey of Navya from beginning to end but due to a major tragedy that hit my family early this week did not feel capable of doing so.

Navya has been the first soap that I have ever watched and fell in love with it on account of the many similarities between it and me. Through it I met all my lovely friends from different parts of the world and I will always be grateful for that.

If by any of my words, thoughts or actions hurt anybody I sincerely ask for forgiveness as that was never my intentions.
