Now first of all I would like to start with the whole test situation. The one were they asked the contestants questions and say if it's a lie the truth or inconclusive. UPMA is not my favourite couple they are far from it HOWEVER I have come to here to defend them. The truth is my dears these tests are completely unreliable. I'm a law student with a psychology minor, and I have studied these machines for a long time. They say there's a one percent chance of them being wrong HOWEVER when a result comes up inconclusive it's not because the person was lying. When you're nervous or your heart beat picks up or just anything happens in general, the machine will register it as a lie or inconclusive. We had done a lot of experimenting with this, in fact I've been even taught how to BYPASS the machine (yes it's possible to trick this machine) it's one of the most non reliable sources in the world, that is not used anywhere, because our results depend on how anxious or not we feel at the time. It can easily tell a truth as a lie,
Now that is out of the way. Lack of judgement. I feel a lot of contestants believe and get swayed into whatever Rithvik tells them. They don't think from them selves. Like during the results when he was announcing them (especially about Ajisha-Myruesh and UPMA) they will just believe it. Then they will act like they aren't fools (*Disclaimer Not bashing anyone even UPMA and Ajisha-Myruesh have done this too*) If you keep believing everything people feed you then you are honestly done for it.

Pointing fingers, all contestants and I mean ALL are quick to point fingers however when it comes to them they defend it and deny it like it's their job.

Finally coming back to UPMA, even though I've always been more of a Sana-Dipesh and Himruta fan. I feel they aren't getting the right marks! They are just not. I've seen other contestants bend their legs and mess up so many other times but yet they don't get marked right. Upen and Karishma are one of the best if not the best (in some people's opinions) dancers in NB7.

So guys please wake up from the onscreen drama and realize that this is a poorly scripted show.

I disagree with you completely. Polygraph test is used for screening new employee, hiring police department personnel and law enforcement agency people apart from finding truth during criminal investigation. If we start questioning one machine result is fake or unreliable then probably we have dump all the machines that we use in real life. Sensors that is used in polygraph test are also used by doctor, so does it mean all the doctor are cheating when they give medicine based on those result ? Why would anyone intentionally trick a machine when it will not help them in their final result.

Before a machine is build, they do 1000's of experiment to check it consistency and accuracy which is mentioned in the specification sheet and if it goes off then its recalibrated.

Even if its the most unreliable source of machine like you said, it is used by all the police department. I am sure police department don't use it for their own fun.

Just because some of the contestant on NB didnt the pass polygraph test doesnt mean such machines are fake or unreliable.

^ What makes you think the piece of scrap metal they had on the show was the real thing? I'd like to see some concrete evidence. The world would have been a much better place if every one could afford that power. The most accurate version of this machine also comes with a disclaimer that it can only predict with 65% accuracy, & are only used in innocuous matters.

The machine failed on the show itself, when it couldn't predict an actual physical event that happened between Rohit & Aishwarya. No wonder Ekta manages to sell her lame ideas to some of her audience. 😆

Agree with the TM. Glad to see the support for Upen Karishma from the general audience.

But the show cant get away with morally degrading real people under the guise of a script. The worst part is they dont even claim to follow a script, Ekta is just openly demeaning people as if they are imaginary characters in one of her TV serial. The TRPs are nosediving & rightly so.

I never knew in math 65% is 0 % and from where did you get 65% accuracy data of a polygraph equipment?

I agree completely about the polygraph machine. In fact this year one of my friends did a detailed research paper and presentation on polygraphs. She told us the proper technique to trick the machine and pass the test. In fact it is very unreliable. A lot of times it doesn't even fall under the realms of valid evidence for judicial proclamations. In comparison to this machine, brain scans are far more accurate and show more vivid proof of where the person is lying.

Is this the indian system?...because in Canada we don't use that at all, we just look at their records that's enough. Okay then...
