That lie detector machine thing was a joke, just that the makers with Rithvik's anchoring skill tried their best to pass it off as some God, something to be taken seriously! 😆

"Mayuresh, tumhari jhooth pakdi gayi"
Just bcos it was Mayuresh, he gulped his anger.
If it was someone else, they would have pulled out their microphones and the wires and thrown it on someone before staging a walk out!😆
Kuch to phenk ke maarte the!

The bestest was the one who lied to everyone and went to US to fulfil her personal commitment , came out like Sach ki Moorat! Yup I'm referring to Rashmi Ms. Desai! Waah!

Oh & btw, I don't care who wins this show & am not rooting for anyone, but I did start watching this show bcos of Himruta & I do see that the makers are creating out an atmosphere for them to win, bcos they think that that would be the best couple for Indian audience at-large.

Ahem ... Ahem... I do not think you understood what the person was trying to say.
The member was trying to explain you that the machine MAY or MAY NOT be correct. It does not mean that it is wrong all the time. There is always a margin of error in such tests, and this is what the show failed ot mention. They claim the machine is always true and extremely accurate. And, yes 65% accuracy is not very accurate at all. This means that more than 2 in 5 times on average, it may be wrong.

Just think about it, when does the machine claim you are lying? When your heartbeat races and your pulse quickens. Can this also happen when you are not lying? What about when you are anxious, angry, annoyed, or have some other feelings that makes adrenaline pum through your body? Does this mean that when you have such emotions, you are lying? Isn't this a false positive?
So, if the machine can be wrong, then why is the show claming that Karishma is definitively a lier and tarnishing her image? Has the production team done an investigation and shown that Karishma did the things they accused her of doing? Why are they pretending as if they are doing her a favour if they are giving her a second chance? Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Well the articles states that people can sue as polygraph test are not even accepted by court. so basically if FBI did it also it is not acceptable . In other federal jobs there is no polygraph tests. And even courts don't accept polygraph results means it is not reliable.

Yes, I know that some states in the US do require polyraph tests for some sort of criminals. However, these tests are not given as much importance as the show seems to be giving them.

In important matters, there is also other evidence to prove the charges or claims that one is making. A verdict of any sort in any U.S. state, at least in my knowledge, is not based solely on a polygraph test.

Now, coming towards the use of polygraph machines. There is a growing body of research that polygraph machines are not completely accurate. I have heard several legal debates with experts on this. America is extremely slow in adopting new practices, so I guess that explains everything. (I do nto mean for you to take that sentence seriously or ot heart. This is just my observation after living in America for 7 years and Canada for the 6 after that.)
